COLORS NOT AS PICTURED
My son is 3 1/2 and has autism, so he is getting a bit of a late start learning to pedal a tricycle. He is in the 75th percentile for height. This tricycle is a great fit for him, and I am so happy it exists! The seat can even go back one more notch from where we have it now, so he even has some room to grow. The trike is very sturdy and stable. I like the narrower seat on it because it is easier for my son to swing his leg over while getting on and off. The seat is 13 inches off the ground. It's perfect for my 3.5 year old son. My 2 year old daughter can sit on the trike and the balls of her feet touch the ground, and she can reach the pedals, but it's a bit of a stretch. I'd say it's appropriate for taller 2 year olds and up.UPDATE: A year has gone by and my son is now 4, still loves his trike, it still fits him, and it's still in great condition. So we ordered one in purple for my daughter. They definitely have changed the paint formula for the body of the bike. It is a metallic reddish purple. The wheels and seat were the bright bluish purple like in the pictures and don't even match the body of the trike. It's incredibly irritating to look at. So I ordered another tricycle in blue with the intention of returning the purple trike. The blue trike didn't look right either! The body paint and wheels are the bright blue in the pictures, but the plastic parts (seat trim, handbars, and pedals) are all a strange, mismatched blue color. Maybe the color change was intended as an improvement on the design, but it definitely was not! I ended up harvesting the black plastic parts from the purple tricycle to make it look acceptable. Now I can't return the purple trike. If the green trike hadn't been such a godsend to my son, I'd be livid. HIGHBOUNCE NEEDS TO UPDATE THEIR ADVERTISING PHOTOS!

A bit childish for our 4 year old
This is a very sturdy, cute trike. Our four year old is 43 inches tall and 46 lbs. She fits on this alright and it is fine but I mention this because I see now that for her size she would have been better off on a small training bike. She looks too old for this when she rides it and she says she feels silly. I can see that too though I take full responsibility for this. The other "issue I had is that the instructions for assembly were quite vague and I had a terrible time putting the bike together.

Great trike!
I bought this for our 3 1/2 year old daughter and she loves it. Most trikes sit low which can be hard to peddle. I noticed how much she loves the tall trikes at her preschool and this was the closest I could find for use at home. Very easy to ride and she loves the color. Gets lots of interest from the other kids at the park so we are learning to share.

Great Bike, But Installation Instructions Are Horrendous
After an exhaustive search for a trike that would grow with our daughter we thought we would purchase this one. The bike itself seems great. It's real metal and the tires and pedals all are of high quality. My major complaint is the installation instructions... Or lack there of. The manufacturer basically provides a kind of schematic that is seriously lacking in detail. The average DIY person is still going to have some issues putting this little thing together. My having worked on cars, motorcycles and bicycles since I was a kid was a serious asset, but it still took me a whole lot longer than I expected. Don't think about waiting to put this thing together on Christmas Eve because it is way worse than unraveling the Christmas Lights. Overall though, once it's together it looks nice and my daughter loves it. Hope this honest review helps you out.

Amazing!
We got this for my son on his 3rd birthday, to upgrade from the radio flyer. It was perfect! Just his size and room to grow. He got right on and took off down the side walk. His 5.5 year old brother can use it too, just barely missing his knees on the handlebars. Double win!
