GelTabz Performance Thumb Grips - PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3

I'd give these a 4.5/5 stars if I could for overall performance. That being said, I think that 5 stars is more fair than 4 stars, based solely on the bang-per-buck scale. I'll first say that I am a long-time KontrolFreek product user and I have used five of their thumbsticks, all of which I have been pleased with. However, I've been looking for the perfect product to use on my PS4 controller for the game Rocket League, as I am about addicted as possible to that game. I was also looking for a product that would work well for games that don't require "twitch reflexes." And, the GelTabz suit that purpose extremely well. In case you're considering a similar product to the GelTabz, I'll what I hope is helpful advice. Grip-iTs are not bad for the price, as they have helped me minimize slippage on my PS3 controller. In addition, right before buying these I purchased the Fosmon thumbsticks and I was very disappointed with them. The Fosmon product was not low-quality; however they felt surprisingly slippery to my thumbs. I used the Fosman thumbsticks on my Xbox One controller and after about two hours I decided that not only did they not offer the grip I was looking for, the grip was actually weaker than the surface of the Xbox One analog sticks. While I've absolutely come to love this product, it isn't exactly 'perfect' right out of the box. I've been using and testing the pair of GelTabz thumb grips for around a month or so now, and while they feel and operate exceptionally well now, they needed to go through something akin to a break-in period before they'd really shine.While the grips felt very comfortable and didn't allow for my thumbs to slip at all under heavy gaming sessions, they did feel really stiff or hard when pressing the thumb sticks inwards to click. This however would only occur when moving the thumb stick itself north and THEN clicking inward. The cause of this is because of the rubber grip that hugs just under the thumb stick itself when the grips are on. They essentially created something of a block when clicking the thumb stick in while moving the stick forward. This was especially problematic for games like Fortnite where you'd have to consistently press the stick inward while moving forward.I immediately figured that the rubber just needed to get adjusted and broken in with repeated action, and within a week or two, that's pretty much what happened. Now it's not even a second thought and the grips perform very well. Only time will tell if they began to slip around and get loose, but for now they work great. If that does happen though, I will update my review!

The rubber on my PS3 controller has been worn off for quite some time, making it difficult to play games for any period of time. I had actually quite using the PS3 altogether because of this. So I decided it was time to revive my controllers and get back to my beloved PS3 games. I read many reviews before making a decision on which brand to purchase, these seemed to be the favored brand, so I went with it. These thumb grips are pretty good. They help me play longer without my thumbs slipping and sweating. They are a perfect fit for the PS3 DualShock controller. The price is fantastic as well. I'm a fan, I'll continue to use these grips until I lose them or they are destroyed. My only complaint, they are a bit difficult to install, yet easily removed by intense playing or small children. That being said, it's still a better option than playing with stick with no grip whatsoever.

I Bought these for PS4 Controller because I heard that the thumbsticks fall apart after a while, so I wanted to be prevent that from happening. They are Not a Hassle to Put On.The way I put them on is by flipping them inside out and then put the base of grip onto thumbstick then roll it downwards so that it comes out evenly onto the thumbstick.I Have to say these do Exactly what they Claim. They are Smooth and Grip Very well to your Fingers.I like how this comes with 4 grips so you can put them onto 2 controllers. I also really like Using These Grips for my Xbox One Elite ControllerHowever I've had these 2 weeks and the grooves on top of them are wearing away I also see these falling apart because the material is primarily 2 part plastic. Also these attract a lot of dust to them.I Don't See Me Buying This Again.

I got a set of these in a ps4 bundle I bought online from a private seller. After a few weeks of use, I was looking for another set for my other controllers. I finally noticed them on Amazon and bought another set right away.These grips fit great over the analog sticks. They do rub against the controller but it hasn't affected my gameplay, just squeaks when it rubs. The grip on the pad works well, even with my sweaty hands. The dots on the grip do get worn out over time depending on how you use the controller. The ones I put on my girlfriends controller wore out on the right thumb stick but her left is like new. I'm guessing it's because she tends to flick the right thumb stick instead of keeping her thumb on the whole time. The ones on mine are just fine, after a couple months of use.For $6 for 2 pairs, it's a heck of a deal to me.

The absolute best accessory to get since the rubber pads on a sony ps4 controller do not last! At first i was skeptikal of buying silicone pads for a high price but after doing a little research on youtube a guy from Australia said these were the best to get and they are much better than the knockoffs at the game shops.If my pads wore out again i would definitely purchase these again and hopefully from the same seller.

Bought this for my PS4 and absolutely love it.They offer solid grip thanks to the small little friction nubs on top of the white gel part. The white gel piece is also a little raised so you get a small little ridge around it which is extremely helpful when you have to point the stick in a single direction for a long time. Also, they are very easy to put on. They are a little expensive as they're imported from the USA, but if you game regularly then these are a must buy.
