This works great. I have two of them. I just set them on my bathroom counter and my hot curling iron can sit on it and it doesn’t ruin my countertop.

Smaller size so it fits on my small sink. I bought because I melted part of my sink from my flat iron. Luckily I caught it right away and my husband hasn't noticed. This will prevent that from happening again

If you constantly flat iron / curl your real hair or weave . This is definitely a great mat to use. I used to lay my flat iron and curly iron on the counter in the bathroom and sometimes on my bedroom rug.that ended up getting burned off . This is great mat to use it can lay up to three hair hot items , depending on the sizes.
