Ouija Board Game

I have owned and admired talking boards for years. I love reading about the history and looking at vintage boards online. I have a small collection started and I am happy to add this rather interesting take on the trademark Ouija line. The board itself is the same size as the glow in the dark board. The surface is not as smooth though and has a slight roughness to it. The planchet once again has felt stickers on the feet instead of the plastic caps that were on the glow in the dark Ouija so it does feel a bit different sliding on the surface of the board but it still slides rather easily and should not cause any problems. The planchet seems to work really well. I have not experienced any of the problems that other reviewers have. The mechanism that turns the light on and off is really easily triggered by simply resting your fingers on the planchet with little to no pressure so it shouldn't hamper the movement any. The light comes from two ultraviolet LEDs which cause all of the white letters and numbers to glow as it passes over. The board itself does also glow like the previous Ouija but because it is made to look like wood it does not glow quite as brightly as before but it doesn't need to with the light up planchet. It serves more as a cool effect because whatever area you are working on the most with the board will slowly become charged by the light and glow for a short time before dimming and going back out. The overall experience of using this board I would say is a bit different than other boards in the past because you will be in almost complete darkness when using it. Even a small candle produces enough light to see around a room in a way and the glow in the dark Ouija was rather bright for a few minutes after it was charged. With so little light it does kind of create a spooky atmosphere when using the board. The last hidden feature is revealed by the planchet because around the board in ultraviolet ink several messages are printed over the board that you can only see when the lights go out and the planchet finds it's way over to them. The content of the messages I wouldn't say is overly useful. I would have preferred for them to put words or phrases that would be used more for a session but it is considered a toy so there you go. If you don't like the hidden messages you can just use an old planchet and a candle and you would never see them. The back of the board is also made to look like wood and the box art is rather attractive. I am looking forward to what collectors have to say about this board in the future. It is so cheap I would recommend buying it. If you give it a chance I am sure you will have some fun with it.

The Ouija Board has a nice design,but the Planchette is Big/Bulky and has unnecessary switchboards and electronic attachments inside of it,to make it light up and help to light the ouija.Its so heavy,that it dosent move across the board.I could feel it move Very slow,which made it unenjoyable.So what I did was,took the little feet off of the bottom, I took the screws out,I pulled the planchette apart,pulled out the plastic viewer and what you have is a lightweight planchette,that can glide across the board:)There is no light on it,but I use Candles anyway to set the aura.So overall its fine,except for the model of planchette that's included*

I bought this knowing fully well it wasn't a legitimate board, so I'm not going to complain about it not working or anything. It does what it's supposed to, and that is entertain for a bit. First of all I love the triangle (I forgot the name :x). Even though it's battery operated, it is just so much more fun to use when it has them. It glows when you're pressing it down and the light reveals hidden messages on the board, which I felt were really neat. It also leaves a green glow on the board when you leave it in one spot for a while, which gave us quite a surprise when we first saw it. The board itself is well enough. It's decent sized, but because of the material it's made with, it's a bit difficult to move the triangle around on it. It's also very thin and light, but makes up for it by how lovely it looks. It also comes with a neat little instruction flyer that's a joy to read. All in all it's a god buy if you're looking for a novelty item. If you really want spirits to appear, you should search elsewhere.

I just received the board earlier before writing this. The design of the board itself is quite nice. Let me remind you that as with Ouija Boards put out by Parker Bros. or in this case Hasbro Games or any other toy company they are always going to be cardboard. One can buy a wooden ouija board on the net. However, I recognize the affordability which is why I too bought this one. The planchette lights up with batteries but for me it's an unnecessary extra. I understand people's complaints concerning the planchette: it is too bulky to fit in the batteries for the unnecessary extra (wooden boards are easier to work with because the planchette slides more smoothly across the board). Nonetheless, if spirits are really present then there should be no real difficulty for them spelling out their messages. I had the glow-in-the-dark board several years ago which I had no luck with. We shall see...

It's a good product. It is not made of wood but it is made up of hard card board.It's uv ray lights in planchette is working good. When we place our finger on planchette then it began to glowing .But didn't try this board yet. When i will try this board if it's real or not then i will give another review for this product.

Is what it is fact it needs battery's is a bit pointless to me but Saying that this missis and her family love playing on it which is good for me. Pretty sure they have had some movement

Il pacco è arrivato in meno del previsto. Era previsto il 9 ed invece è arrivato il 7. 4 giorni di spedizione ed inoltre no ammaccature sul pacco. La tavola è perfetta, unica pecca è che la planchette quando si illumina fa una luce molto soffusa ed inoltre le batterie alkaline sono molto care. Il vetro in plastica della planchette inoltre è molto sporco. Ottimo prodotto e lo consiglio.

El diseño está muy bien y basado en el clásico. La caja también, se asemeja a una vieja caja de madera con sus bisagras. La planchette flaquea un poco no en su diseño, sino que se le nota mucho la textura y brillos del plástico que la conforma. ¿Sirve para usar como Ouija aún siendo un juguete con pilas? SÍ. Sólo hay que tener en cuenta el hecho de que, debido a una fina capa de plástico rugoso transparente adhesivo pegado en toda la superficie del tablero para hacer aparecer diversas palabras bajo la luz ultravioleta (luz negra) de la planchette, hace que el deslizamiento de ésta sobre el tablero no sea tan suave como sería lo ideal. Resumiendo: Visualmente es casi perfecta, para uso como no-juego también es válida con alguna pega (referida anteriormente).
