Shoei J-Cruise II Open Face Motorcycle Helmet

This is the second Shoei helmet I have purchased. The first one is a RJ Platinum-R open face and now the new improved version that is as close to a full face as I wanted. This is a much lighter and more sound proof helmet and a beautiful fit ( providing you use the measure chart properly). It does allow me to install my Sena 50 S to the side without any issues (as seen in the picture). I have the “sound by harman/lardon set) and with this sound proof helmet,, its is awesome. I have tested this helmet riding in torrential rains and it is certainly water tight,, and with the pin-lock lense ( which should be included for the price of the helmet) I have not had any issues with loss of vision while travelling Hiwy speeds in the rain. I am very happy I chose this helmet,, it’s is perfect fit and comfortable with more sound proofing than I expected. My only complaint would be that it is a little overpriced and for the price Shoei could have included the pin-lock.

Excellant purchase!! Super comfortable and with the inner dark visor it eliminates the need to wear sunglasses. Great helmet did not disappoint.

It’s the nicest helmet I’ve ever owned and my second Shoei. It weighs 3.5 pounds and very comfortable. The fit is amazing I’ve never had a helmet that was that comfortable right out of the box. Thanks

After years of trying to fit my head into a Shark Evoline 3, I bought this one. I am shocked, I tell you, shocked that it actually fits and is COMFORTABLE! It is very quiet and doesn't strain my neck with unnecessary weight from a modular jaw-piece.I paired this helmet with the new Sena Mesh 2 headset. UNBELIEVABLY clear; unbelievably listenable!I recommend this to any searching for a 3/4 helmet and who have a rounder head than Shark engineers can handle!

Comfort and brain protection is top notch. The built in sunscreen is fabulous. But if you have a Cardo Freecom like I do in every hemet, go ahead and know the struggle is real. It fits and works, but the speaker slots are just a hair smaller due to the shape of the JBL's. The microphone is also bigger then the slots you have to cram it in. Oh and if there is an adapter plate to mount the Freecom I didn't see it. Either way I just stuck it behind the helmet mount with 3m just like every other helmet and raised it a little anyways as I hate that my jacket spins the volume anyways. I pulled the little foam earpieces things that cram in the speaker holes and put the little velcro stick pads in there and crammed them down as best I could. Sounds good, fits decent on the ears, and I was even able to jamb the mic in there under the cheek [pad.

Sizing runs a bit smaller even using the measurements criteria that is recommended. If size dictates borderline I suggest the larger if the two. Otherwise, the helmet is very well built. Speaker placement is spot on and mounting area even has a resonance chamber behind it to enhance sound quality. Fave shield is long enough to decrease buffeting and the tinted eye shield is crystal clear. This is an expensive helmet but worth the extra as it is well designed and execution is flawless. You won’t be disappointed.

Very nice helmet that fits true to size. Quality throughout and well worth the money. Fairly lightweight and very quiet.

I have a big head, and this helmet fits me perfectly. Good quality, material and good quality riding.
