PCI-e 2x Gig NIC,
Using this for a PFsense router. needed a few extra Nic ports for the Green/Lan and the Blue/WiFi ports. Works great. been using this for over a year and still no problems. Its a router so cant even use full 1Gbps. but sub 30ms ping to outside my network, PFsense install had no driver issues, and was a cheap way to add 2 ports to a Atom Motherboard. I am sure this is not as good as the Gold standard Intel nic. But was cheap enough. Can not say if it supports teaming or even if its capable of pushing its rated full line speed. But again its in a router, running on a 24x2 DSL WAN link. i do have webpage cashing engaged off a 32GB SSD. But i cant see that taking a full 1Gbps in a home network environment. The fact that in a Linux environment i did not have to D/l and install any drivers was a big plus. Cheap and so far reliable. I call it a win.

Works on a Linux host, on a Xen box, and on a libvrt + virt-manager installation
I am using these adapters in my virtualized network-monitoring/security-research lab environment, and they haven't given me any trouble, even when I run them in "raw"/promiscuous mode, use them with Wireshark or tcpdump, directly access them using the libpcap drivers, etc. In short, then work great for me!!Never tried them on Winblows, so don't know about that, but this dual-port adapter works right out of the box (no downloads, no package installs) on the above mentioned operating systems and virtual machine configurations, so I can't speak more highly of them than that.Don't need to spend more when this thing works great!P.S. I was able to set the MTU to 6,000 bytes in the driver! This fixed an intermittent problem that I was having under certain configurations. I know it was caused by my telephone company router (DSL from Verizon), so the card is not to blame.

Great functional value
This is the cheapest dual port 1000T NIC I've seen. Lots of reviews said this worked on a variety of systems (though not a top performer) so I gave it a shot. I am using it as a span port to gather data for ntopng, and also as the physical port for openvswitch, which is providing connectivity using 802.1Q to KVM-qemu virtual guest systems (virtio driver). I wouldn't use this setup to, say, provide highly available Internet services, but it's excellent for a home/lab/test setup when all you need are more ports.

Not Good
Works great with Linux for standard networking.Does not support Jumbo Frames (Real Jumbo Frames of MTU 9000) but goes up to 7200. This is not enough. If you need dual port card that you want to use for dual ports on normal networking (MTU 1500) this card works. If you want to support Jumbo Frames (and I do for my OpenMediaVault Servers), look else where.

Purchased this so that I could connect two VM's to two different LAN switches in a Cisco lab environment.I couldn't get this card to work correctly with VirtualBox when doing bridged networking. At first VBox would error out when trying to bridge to either port. After a reinstall of VBox one of the ports worked, but the other continued to give an error.Switched to VMWare and it works perfectly! With VMWare I can assign a bridged connection to both of the ports, allowing VM1 to be on one LAN and VM2 to be on another LAN. It does exactly what I needed it to do.

Sure this would work fine for Windows though
If you're looking to use this for PFSense, dont' because it won't work. Uses Realtek chipset which is not recognized by PFSense natively. Changed over to a LAN card with an Intel chipset and PFSense recognized it immediately. Sure this would work fine for Windows though.

GENERIC BRAND, NOT Syba. WORKS FINE
I was disappointed to see the Syba brand product I thought I'd purchased was instead a generic model of the same kind of card. This is confidence uninspiring in the vendor. The card seems to be working fine and I was able to get updated drivers from the RealTek web site.I visually confirmed the chips are the RTL8111E chips I was after. They support advanced features like jumbo frames and dedicated VM support.Because it's working fine for my application in my system I'd give it 5 stars, but I don't like getting different brand than I thought I was buying. If they had mentioned this could or would be the case in the product description I probably would have been fine with it.Like I said - mine is working fine. But I can't say what you'll get if you buy this product. Two stars lost on this review because it wasn't the brand I ordered, even if the card is functionally the same.Hope this helps someone.

Black PCB is nice, using it to make a team in my windows 10 rig. The included drivers work, but windows should have some preloaded for it. While teaming is only officially supported by windows server, this card appears to be performing well teamed on desktop windows 10.

2gb on teaming
Does what it says on the tin. Use railtek chipset and you need to use the utility to create the teaming . There seems to be two teaming options . Link aggression option doent seem to work for me . But the option does . I get 2gb to my file server now. I think

Four Stars
Gives two ethernet ports.

Works as expected
Works great with ESi 5.5 update 2, after the driver has been injected. I'm using it with my HP Microserver G7 N54L.btw: the product name Amazon sended me is different from this one, but it's the same controller and chipset, so i guess it was a rebrand from the same produt.
