So far so good. It's a bit smaller than the original cover. It seems lighter but more durable if that makes sense. There's no ties which is good because mine always broke on the old one. I have this secured using the grommets with bungee cords. I also weaved it in and out of the bars at the top of the pergola. It has withstood some early storms with 60mph wind gusts, so much better than the original one the pergola came with. For the price I'm happy with the purchase.Came back to review after a hot summer and a few storms. This thing hasn't moved. Again I used bungee cords at the end and weaved it at the top thru the bars. Definitely would recommend.

Exactly what we needed for our DIY project. Perfect amount of shade. Just make sure to get the right size. We ordered extra long to have adjustable side coverage.

Doesn't block water (which previous one did). Appears to be good quality though - so we shall see .....

We have a screened in pool deck and lanai. Where our dining tabel it gets east to west all day sun and the table gets unbearable to touch in heat of the day. We added 6 aluminum bars to the frame in this area and purchased this shade so that we can pull down on one side in the morining and pull down on the other in the evening for shade. It does just what we hoped it would. It was nice to be able to order the exact length and width we were looking for. The bars work well and keep it from moving when in position without any other restraints. They do sway a bit in the wind but that is not a problem for us. It lets enough air through it's not a balloon, and it allows water to pass through so it doesn't pull down in center during heavy rains. Also, it's easy to remove for hurricanes or really severe storms. It is just what we were hoping for. We can sit out there in the heat of the day and not cook and the table is not too hot to touch.My only negative comment is that the sides curl under the way my husband put it up and we need to flip it over so they fall down.

It was just a bit small. I ordered the 10x16 and though I measured it from the ground looking upwards to the pergola, it seemed a bit small upon receiving it like it 9x14, w/no overlapping. But I’m still very happy with the result and it does fit. Thanks a bunch, nice product. 😊

I would send it back, but I don't want to wait for another cover. Just installed so I have no idea how long it will last but it looks to be of good quality. The weighted poles (3 pieces per side) stay straight which is better than another one I sent back. That one had maybe 8 smaller pieces per side for packaging purposes and they bowed. I also like the LIGHT GRAY on this one. The one I sent back from another supplier was also supposed to be gray, but it was a blue gray. I was not happy that the width was not close to 9' as noted in the headline. I am okay with a few inches but 8" is too much. I guess I should have ordered 10' so that I got the 9' I wanted. The grommet holes were not exactly opposite each other on the long sides which seemed strange. The long edges also wanted to curl or fold back towards the center instead of staying straight. Not sure if this is due to packaging or sewing. I had to tie the shade back at every grommet to help compensate for this issue. Again, if summer was not already here and I wanted shade now I would have returned. Another positive item is that they delivered a week earlier than promised.

Ease use installation required 2 people.we used zip ties and bungee cords eye hooks and cord to tie down and raise shade on one end. I do wish that the shade would repell water when it rains.
