I got this to replace a black one that came with my helmet. My helmet is camo and the black defeats the purpose. This product is very well made and has all the features of other brands. It comes with a battery holder that fits into the large pouch on the back. There is plenty of room for extra batteries and counter-weights when wearing NVG's. The velcro is good quality and grips very well. I am very happy with this product and I am sure you will be too.

I bought this for a night vision set up and needed a counter weight pouch and a mohawk to do cable management for my battery pack. This is honestly such a good product for less than $20. The Velcro is super strong and isn't likely to come off even when running or training. Honestly was perfect for my use case.

The media could not be loaded. Could not see spending $90.00 on a mohawk from TNVC. This counterweight pouch holds an aviation style battery holder with 4 AA's and 4 CR123's in the integrated elastic bands. Beware it does not come with a placard care with elastic bands as in the pictures. The elastic is sewn inside the pass through tunnel. The elastic is in two rows and holds a CR123 well. I believe it would hold a total of 6 of them if you wanted but I just carry 4. The elastic has the batteries mounted horizontally and you can push from one side out the other. The velcro is quality and the stitching seems squared away. The fabric seems as if it will hold up well. I am interested to see how it looks under night vision. Holds everything I need and looks good. Great price. There is elastic loops on the top side of the counterweight pouch for a chem light and velcro loops on the bottom to hold your radio cables when not in use. Nice design. I do wish it had the removable placard with elastic loops as in the pictures. It helps to add to my 50 shades of green helmet setup.

I love the overall quality of the product however it didn’t come with any weights, so I had to improvise and use large batteries for big lights or other things that use big batteries…I feel dumb….

I put this on my helmet for an 8 hour night vision training course. I needed a good counter balance and battery holder to replace my old one, but didn't want a full helmet cover. This worked perfectly and held the weight well. The bungies also held chem lights well and had no issues with them falling out. I highly recommend this product as it's sturdy, light weight, and a great bang for your buck.
