Matney Universal Cell Phone and GPS Flexible Gooseneck Bracket -Hands Free Stand Clip Holder Mount for Bedroom, Bathroom, Kitchen, Desk, Gym, Car, or Any Smooth Surface

My husband wanted this to easily use our Kindle Fire HD6 hands-free. It has held up well with over a month of use, and seems pretty sturdy. It secures well to both the table edge where we have it, as well as the tablet. He has the clamped tablet leaning on the arm of the couch, so it has enough stability so he can still use the stylus on it to do whatever web surfing he wants. The clamps are hard plastic and don't feel fragile, while the flexible arm is easily movable, while sturdy. Clever little invention.

Horrible product. The rubber grip on claw for the phone is the only good part. First fault on this is the clip that attaches the arm to the table. The grip was almost glued shut, it made a snapping sound when i opened it to put on the table. It seems that the grip was not made to have the arm behind it, because as soon as I turn the arm 180 degrees it slips and snaps of the table because it was not designed properly in such a way for it to handle the weight of a phone behind it. The creator was not thinking outside the box on this one because if they were they would of thought that maybe the costumer of this product would maybe like to have it turn in 360 degrees, although it can the grip can not handle the weight like I stated previously The foam of the grip that attaches to the table is smooth and may be good for the table but does not hold very well at all. The flexible arm is very stiff and does not hold the phone well because if I move The arm slightly or hit the table it will shake the phone for quite a while. The absolute worst part of this item is getting the arm to attach to the grip for the phone. I must of received one with a fault because NO ONE is stupid enough to design it like This.(see in picture below) The ring that holds the arm and the clip together is to large to comfortable screw into the proper placement. Attaching the arm and screwing in the ring took 5 minutes. Something that should have taken 30 seconds. All the time i was doing this i thought something was going to break because the items uses very cheap plastic. I searched for 10 seconds and already found a cheaper and assuming better product very similar to this item.

the clip holder for the phone was secure but holding to the gooseneck itself was not secured enought it kept moving so when u tried to u use ur phone or device the holder kept moving. the plastic bolt on back of the holder is not tight enough

Like this thing a lot. Ordering another for my other car.

Awful. I ended up never using it and threw it in the trash. It's WAY too difficult to bend in the proper position and the base is plastic and too weak. My phone would always look stupid, not angled right, or the pole would be stuck bent in weird ways and look dumb.

Too big not flexible enough

The clamp is week, is not sturdy and is clumsy to use. Doesn't keep good hold of my iPhone either.

Its arrived with missing screw and its cracked from gripping end.
