Changing Pad Cover not Needed
I bought this off my registry so that my newborn would have a nice soft pad to lay on, but I soon realized that changing pad covers are totally impractical and I won't be getting a lot of use out of this. Babies leak fluids from every whole, and the changing pad (obviously) gets pretty dirty. Taking a cover on and off of it multiple times a week (if not multiple times a day) is impractical. It is much easier to just wipe down the plastic pad when it gets dirty. I will admit that the heavy use of my changing pad has already lead to a rip in the center, and keeping it covered would have probably protected it better, but the changing pads are cheap enough that I can just toss this when it's beyond repair and buy another. Unless you are planning to stock up on changing pad covers so you can change it daily, there is really no need to have one. I will say that this one did wash well and was both soft and absorbent.

Perfect!
I bought this to go over my IKEA changing table pad. They’re pads are an unusual size, so you have to buy from them. They have limited colors though, so I’m so happy that this one actually works.

Not what I expected
So I ordered 2 changing pads for the "LA Baby Waterproof 4 Sided Cocoon Style Changing Pad, 30" - Easy to Clean Quilted Cover W Non-Skid Bottom, Safety Strap, Fits All Standard Changing Tables/Dresser Tops for Best Infant Diaper Change" Supposedly this one was made specifically for the LA Baby changing pad - but it doesn't have holes for the safety harness, and it isn't waterproof, so accidents go straight in to the changing pad. I also purchased by A Top Shelf, Waterproof Plush Change Pad Cover 100% Cotton Grey Velvet by Ely's & Co no Need for Changing Pad Liner <-- this one is SO MUCH BETTER.This one, although supposedly made specifically for this pad, falls short.

I bought these for my baby (who is now 19 months) when she was a newborn, along with the La Baby cocoon changing pad. I admit, I didn't use them religiously at first, but when my liner started to crack after 2 months, I changed my tune quick. Now I always have one on and one in reserve. As other reviewers noted, there are not holes for the restraints, however, since the restraints come from the bottom, holes aren't needed, since you can just run the strap over the cover.

Either skip or buy 3-4
The changing pad that this goes on is waterproof... so this cover isn't really necessary, unless you have 3-4! 1 for the changing pad, 1-2 in the wash and 1 clean ready to put on. However, the cover its self is great, and easy to put on. Maybe if I had a girl, I would only need one. But my son pees almost every time we change him, so I don't use the cover anymore.

A must have!
This is a must have if you by the changing pad for your changing table. I actually bought two so my daughter would always have one ready. They wash nicely and fit the recommend changing pad as it says - nice snug fit no slipping. Washes up great.

Great product
I've washed the covers (I bought two, since one always seems to be dirty) multiple times in the last two months, and they've held up incredibly well. Baby stains come out of them quite easily. I would highly recommend.

Does not have slits for baby safety straps
I bought this cover to go with the 30" LA Baby changing pad I ordered. The cover fits the changing pad, but it does not have slits so you can use the changing pad's baby safety straps with the cover on. I like to use the safety strap so I'm returning this cover. I also bought a standard changing pad cover (not designed for LA Baby pad) and it fits just fine and has slits for safety straps - which most covers have. If it is going to be made for the LA Baby changing pad, then they need to include the slits for the baby straps that come with the pad.
