A very nice table book
This book is not going to give you the fine details about lomography, rather it is a compilation of photographs taken with a wide variety of analog cameras. I found it to be an interesting book because even though we see the world through our eyes, the interpretation of that sight when focused through an old system camera can be starkly different. By using different analog cameras with a mixture of 120 roll films, the world can look quite different and more artistically inclined. This book is a neat reference for the photographer who has his mind bent in the direction of film. Don't be afraid to buy this book if you are a digital photographer, as there are looks to the world that a digital camera just cannot capture, unless you spend a significant portion of your remaining life sitting before PhotoShop. Be brave and take a step backwards into the future of photography. Let your mind's eye see what a cheap plastic lens sees. Absolute perfection is not the way the world works so why not photograph it in the imperfect world of film.

Nice set of books going over lomography
Nice set of books going over lomography. I was hoping it was going to go more into the processes you can do with lomography but it was more about the history and the different cameras.

If you're a big lomography fan, you have to get this book.
This is THE book for lomography fans. It details pretty much all the cameras they carry, as well as the different film types and different ways to use them. Great 2-volume set. I definitely recommend these.

Love it!
I am writing this review based on the 2 volume set so make sure you are getting the set and not just 1 book. First off I LOVE this set. I have it on display and look at the books often. One book is mostly images of all types made with different lomography cameras. It's very bright, colorful and full of engaging visuals for anyone who enjoys photo books. I get inspiration from this all the time. The second book is mainly text with some images. It talks about how lomography came about and a brief history on their cameras. Lots of useful information including hints and tips as well.To me, my lomography book collection would not be complete without these babies. If you love lomo photography then get this! It's also a great gift for any lover of lomo cameras, great coffee table book, beautiful, well-made and inspiring. You will pick it up again and again!
