Works well, great value, with a few caveats..
If you want a low cost, powerful inline fan this is incredibly good value. Like many fans made in China and resold in the UK, the instructions are difficult to understand and the screws are useless, they may as well be made out of butter. Once you accept this, the fan offers the same functionality as fans three times the price available from traditional retailers. That said, even those fans are no better quality as this one.

Low noise, Works well, Good features
Installed to remove steam from a shower.Best features are:Removable leaving all ducting in place, so great for future servicing/replacement.Quiet running.Integrated overrun timer.Dual speed. My experience:Works well and is fairly quiet though I mounted it onto a beam and sound is conducted to the house so I will remount onto a foam pad to silence it completely sometime. Sound is not intrusive though. There are some reviews mentioning water getting in to the electronics but it is down to how you mount the unit and the ducting you use. This time I mounted it vertically with minimum amount of ducting, venting to a vent tile in the roof. I would say avoid uninsulated ducting as you will get condensation inside which will lead to water ingress, especially in winter months. Keep the runs short as possible and with a slope so condensation cannot pool in the pipe. Better for any condensation to run back into the shower where it is already wet rather than anywhere else, though I see no water as the 30 minute overrun probably dries it all out.The low speed doesn't seem to be much slower but is a little quieter than full speed. To reduce noise especially for night time, I wired a relay into the unit so it runs full speed when the bathroom light is on then low speed for 30 mins when the light is turned off. Seems a good solution. You should definitely incorporate an isolation switch so all lines can be disconnected for servicing/replacement etc.Good product - would buy again.

No more condensation in the bathroom
Great extractor I've had issues with condensation built up in my small bathroom with a normal ceiling fan since the few days I've changed to this fan I've noticed that the mirror no longer mist over and generally the room has vastly less moisture, noise wise it is not anymore louder than the fan I replaced it with, if your thinking off getting this style off can I would say get it ,fitting wise if your anyway DIY it's straight forward enough to install if not into DIY get an electrician.

Works well
The wiring diagram is not what I would have expected and if you are not sure about it please consult a qualified electrician about it. Otherwise good value for money.

Can be installed without the timer, use silicon to seal motor wire hole
Not as quiet as expected. I followed the advice of another reviewer and installed the fan on a suspended platform. Just a plywood base hung with parachord at the 4 corners which was then attached to the rafters, hanginga few inches above the insulation covering the joists. This greatly reduced the noise compared to when the fan was installed on a base directly onto the joists. Without this, the fan could be heard in every single room of our small house. There is still an annoying low frequency but this seems to be due to the harmonics of the ducting. I know this reads like I'm super irritable to sounds, but I'm not. It's just that compared to our previous extractor fan it's much louder and it feels like your ears are batted when underneath the vent. But our other extractor did nothing to remove the humidity which is why it was replaced. This however does a great job of evacuating the moist air. We never need the window open now.If you don't want to use the timer, but have it switch on/off with your light, you simply need to put short L and LT and have the live (brown) go to either of them. If you only try running the live to LT then the fan won't turn on at all.Based on negative reviews which saw moisture collecting in the electronic case, I put a dab of silicon in the opening which the wires pass through to power the motor. It is a small blacker rubber like tube. It is easy to see why this condensation could happen without sealing this as the opening is not insignificant in size

Great quality!
I bought this to replace a ceiling fan in my en suite. I would highly recommend this product. The quality is brilliant. I scanned the qr code and the instruction video was excellent. I’m going to buy another for my bathroom.
