This army green hat is so stinking cute — perfect for my little guy on all our sunny outings! He’s worn it fishing, hiking, swimming, and biking, and it’s held up beautifully. The strap keeps it securely on his head, and it’s comfortable enough that he actually keeps it on (a win in itself!).We’re trying to keep things low-tox this summer by skipping the sunscreen when we can and using UV-protective clothing and hats instead. This hat has been a key part of that — great sun coverage and easy to clean, even after lots of messy outdoor fun.It fits my 3-year-old really well with room to grow, but it’s not too loose. Bonus: it travels well — doesn’t get wrinkly or lose its shape when tossed into a bag. Just a great, solid little boy hat that’s as cute as it is practical.

I looked at a million hat reviews trying to find the perfect one for my son because he is fair complected but loves to stay outside. He is 3.5 years old and I would say average size. This hat is lightweight and vented and the brim is very wide but not flimsy, so it doesn’t get down in his eyes. He wears is without complaining. There are adjustments for the head circumference and the chin strap which keeps the hat from blowing off when he is running. The hat is well worth the money because it protects his face neck and ears very well.

My toddler and I both love this hat. I have a 2 yr old with a big head and this hat fits great with room to grow. He can put it on himself and wears it with no issue at all. Soft and breathable, it will be a staple all summer. Bonus for the bright color for easy ID in public.

Bought for my 3 year old that doesn’t like to wear hats, but with being on the beach for 7 days, a hat was necessary to prevent sunburn. This was very comfortable for her, and she didn’t complain about wearing it. It is easy to adjust and the brim is wide enough and sturdy to prevent sun on the face without obstructing her view. She even wore it boogie boarding and had no issues with it falling off.

The brim is wider than most sun hats I have bought in the past for my 5 yo son and it works great to shield the back of his neck and full face from the sun. It's thin and dries easier than the cotton hats I have used. I use it primarily as the hat he wears while swimming in the pool but the water does make the brim floppy and it does come down some over his face. It doesn't seem to bother him so I am pleased to have found a functional hat that he can continue to grow into.

Got this for my son for the Grand Canyon. I’m always worried guessing head size but be at peace this should fit your small kid! My son is 5 years old, average head size. There is an adjustable drawstring on the back to since it tighter plus a sturdy chin drawstring and not the crappy Velcro ones that fit no one. Sturdy brim, not annoyingly floppy. Hat worked great for the heat. In our pictures it’s over 100 degrees. He bought light grey

Affordable, wide brimmed for sun coverage, lightweight material, vents well. We have bought two so far for our child and take it everywhere from the park to Hawaii. It shields little faces well and is a great alternative or asset to sunscreen. If your kids hate putting sunscreen on their face, this hat is a game changer! I recommend selecting a bright color so you can easily spot your kiddo in the water or playing on the playground!
