Team Work
I had two teenage boys helping me move and they thanked me for ordering the Ready Lifter. They found it best when moving the mattresses and box springs, since there are no handles on these. Queen and king beds are awkward to lift and carry, but the Ready Lifter makes moving them easy. They also found it very useful on moving the sectional sofa. Very easy to lift and maneuver in and out of the doors. The boys liked working as a team squatting, lifting and carrying. There was a minor issue and that is if you are a big guy. You put the harness on like putting on a tee shirt and the X part of the strap should be at the middle of your back. Problem is the bottom part is not wide enough. I'm 6'5", 320lbs and it was hard getting it on, much less getting it off! I was able to put the harness over my arms with the X in the front. I tried it out moving one of the mattresses and a dresser and agreeing with the teens, made it very easy to lift and move.We all found it very useful on moving mattresses, dressers and sofas.

Works way better than the Forearm Forklift!
First and foremost this product does not change how much weight you will have to lift! Their is no added mechanical advantage when using this product. The weight of the lifted object will be evenly distributed between the two lifters EXCEPTwhen both lifters are not at the same level (ie stairs). While lifting objects up and down stairs the person on the higher step will most likely have to bear most of the load unless the bottom person uses their hands. That being said, I would still highly recommend this product because it helps anyone (from the guy who has never deadlifted to the body builder of the year) to keep good lifting form throughout the entire move. All the weight is placed on your shoulders close to your body so you can lift using only your legs while keeping your back in a neutral isotonic non-jerking position. An added bonus is that your hands are left free from carrying the load so you can control the object with ease using both arms. You cannot do this with the Forearm Forklift! Also a good thing to know is make sure that the strap is placed as close to the center as you can so your object doesn't tip over when you lift up for the first time. This product is especially nice to use while carrying awkward and heavy objects that don't have good spots to grip at waist height (ie refrigerator, dressers, recliner couches ect).

Works well if the users are the same height
I'm conflicted on how to rate these. If there was a 3.5 star I would choose that one. They are much better than moving large or heavy items by hand. Makes it easy to manuver through doorwars as well. My biggest issue is that no matter how I set either side, if there is a notable height difference between the two people using the straps it just doesn't lift well. My wife and I used them and I am about a foot taller than her, and unless one of us leaned back (which made large heavy objects unstable) or made the straps so short that walking was difficult it would barely lift on her end. And going up and down stairs or the truck was also difficult with the height difference. This could have been overcome by making where the center point of the straps on the person lifting be adjustable, then the center of gravity could be even for each person.

Works well for large items, smaller non-square items not so much
I used this with my wife, who is several inches shorter than me. Either I was uncomfortable or she was depending on where the pivot point was under the item. It is especially hard to use for small, heavy items as there just isn't enough support. We gave up after about 45 minutes or trying to use this. It was easier to just carry the items. I would suggest this though for large, bulky items. It greatly helped moving couches, large furniture, and anything else with a square or rectangle shape.

Saved money on a moving crew
This was an awesome purchase, and one of the best I've made. I was a little worried the single strap wouldn't be sufficient to stabilize the item, but was surprised it did such a good job when lifting. I had to move a 3 door Brimnes wardrobe from ikea that previously took a moving crew to move. This time, it was just me and a buddy and we got it moved no problem. The single strap made it a little wobbly but I don't think it would have been any better using dual straps from other models. It also made moving a mattress and box spring really easy. I'll be keeping this for years to come and suggesting it to everyone I know. A really good deal and worth every penny.

Works great, was very useful in the moving of heavy furniture
These were easy to use and pretty sturdy for the furniture I had to carry. Saved my hands, arms and back from having to hold the heavy weight and also makes it easy to transport things without dragging them on the floor. I'm glad I got these and i very much recommend for anyone who has to carry heavy furniture around. The only 'downside' is that you need a second person to share the load.

Beware if you're a big guy
If you are a bigger guy (wearing a 2XL shirt), this may be way to tight on your chest. It would've been awesome if the straps are adjustable to fit various chest sizes.
