Hands down the best merino wool leggings available
I love my Minus33 wool long underwear. These are a less expensive option than the Smart Wools I previously owned, and they have lasted a lot longer. They also are an improvement in overall comfort due to the design of the shape and stitching. These are great for wearing under work clothes on cold commutes or for a base layer for outdoor exercise in the winter. These wash well and do not get any pilling of material after multiple laundry cycles. I have not had the need to launder them after every use because they vent away moisture so well and do not seem to get stinky at all. The fit of these is extremely comfortable and are never too hot to wear all day in the office.I paid full price for this product. Good quality fabric, Correct Sizing, New well priced option in Merino Wool base layers!
These merino wool leggings are the nicest I've put on in a while and I have SmartWool, Icebreaker, Patagonia...so great to have another company in the game. I wear merino wool on top or on my legs every day 9 months of the year. These are high waisted on me....higher than in the photo...which is fantastic They have a little cuff at the ankle which should help that area from bagging out, a common way merino begins to wear over time. I have washed them on delicate cycle and thrown them over the line instead of drying. Excellent performance in the laundry. I will purchase another pair soon as two of my Smartwools have holes or ravels (more than a decade old.)I wear these over a pair of yoga pants. Sizing is correct. If I wore as a next to skin layer I would wear an extra small. I am 5'4" 120.

These are the Best
I get about two years of almost daily wear out of a pair before I get some chub rub on the inner thighs, which is easily repaired with soft wool repair yarn. Don't use regular sewing thread, as it will cut into the wool fibers, and feel rough on the inner thigh.I wear these inside and outside - the wool thermoregulates beautifully. Yes, they are expensive, but their cost per wear is cheaper than lower grade leggings. Wash them gently, using a mesh bag so they don't get stretched out in the machine. Air dry them as flat as you can. If you think they are getting itchy, give them a rinse with the hair conditioner of your choice, and they will soften right up. Wool is hair, you know.

Quality product, I found them to be looser than I expected in fit.
I love these wool pants. They are heavy wool pants which is what I was looking for. be aware that they might fit loose, as I expected them to be very tight or snug and they were not. I bought a smaller pair and those almost fit me right but they seemed to pull in the crotch like the legs were not long enough but the 'snugness' was correct. I would describe them as fitting very loose if you order your correct size.

Real wool...not wool blend...not wool rich...
These are a darn near perfect base layer for my chilly beach house in the winter, and I am picky as all heck about my clothing. Sick to death of polyester everything, I turned to amazon for the wool and quality that I really want and once again, they had it. I ordered xxl, because they were cheaper and though I've been losing weight and am down from 2x, i hadn't realized i was all the way down to an xl, so they are kinda baggy. Plus I thought they would shrink a little, which they really did not. I feel like throwing all my other tights out now. Sorry for the rambling review, but if you are chilly, and tired of fake fibers, you really want these. Thank me later. Also, I don't care if they do say you can put them in a dryer, I would never do that to wool. Hang 'em up. They'll be dry in a day anyway.

Soft, thick and warm. Great alternative to Smartwool or LL Bean
Very pleased with this product so far. I've been looking for months to replace merino wool base layer bottoms from LL Bean, purchased in 2011. The new LL Bean product does not wrap the waist band in fabric, so bare elastic sits on your skin. A comparable Smartwool base layer is $95! This Minus 33 Merino Wool Base Layer is soft, comfortable, and warm. Wool is thick and finely woven, and not at all itchy. Lays flat. Gusseted crotch and wrapped waist band makes it comfortable around middle with no rubbing or pulling. I'm 5'6" and 135 lb and medium fits perfectly, if a little long (so there are a few wrinkles in legs, but nothing to bunch or make uncomfortable). I will update this review after washing, but plan to wash in cold water inside out (as instructed) in a mesh bag (as I do with other dedicates).

Super cozy and comfortable
These, and the midweight bottoms from WoolX, were the two winners of my "great woolen hunt of 2017." This waistband is narrower than the WoolX one, but that's actually an advantage, since it's less prone to twist and roll down. Unlike some of the other brands I tried, this cut also works well for someone with a narrow waist and wide hips. Super soft, cozy, and very comfortable -- I'm wearing them right now beneath yoga pants and I'm toasty!

A warm merino-wool baselayer. A bit out of shape ...
A warm merino-wool baselayer. A bit out of shape and pilling after several washes. Knocked off another star for the exuberant price.

These are a nice midweight base layer
I am a cold person- cold all the time, even indoors, even when other people think it's too warm. My long johns go on when the temperature dips below 10C and stay on until it warms up. I have purchased Ibex, Icebreaker, and others (Stanfields used to make a 2 layer long john for women that I loved). These are a nice midweight base layer. They seemed thicker than the Icebreaker Vertex leggings I own, which are supposed to be a 260gm fabric, while the Minus33 website lists these as 220gm. The knit is great, very soft and seems durable. My only complaint is that they do seem to run a bit large. I am 5'8", 145lbs, and I vary between small and medium sizes depending on the fit of the clothing and whether I want it loose or fitted. I purchased these in medium and they work ok, but the waist is a bit large. The length is perfect, and I am concerned that they might shorten if I wash them and they shrink. They are also very high waisted, coming right up to the natural waistline, not below.

These are great. Good quality wool
These are great. Good quality wool, slightly thicker than the wool of my smartwool leggings. The colour is a deep red, and it maintains its colour even after multiple washes. I'm 5'10 and a half and about 160lbs and the large fits comfortably. I slept in them through a very cold winter. They do pill more than the smartwool does, but it's very small--almost like micro-pilling--and it doesn't detract from the way they look or feel.

great comfortable thin long-john for habitual winter wear
Durable. It's spring by now and these pair are going to last at least a second year.My only regret is not getting the thicker weight, as these are not very thick. They are great for casual wear, esp if you mostly work indoor, but the thicker pair would be just plain awesome for outdoor play!On colder days, I wore these first and then my older fleece long johns over-top. What I noticed is that whereas fleece long johns are warm and thick, they do get sweaty when you move indoors, and the lack of stretch really restricts knee movement. With these wool ones, there is so much extra stretch for your knee movement. This is yet another reason why I'd rather drop more money on the thicker pair of these next time, as I'm confident those thick ones would still have way more stretch then my fleece ones.

Awesome!
It's a fantastic product; I simply cannot wear wool next to my skin since it itches, even merino wool! However, I have already purchased the blend & it's plenty warm in layering. (Also got it for my sister-in-law, niece, and my nephew's fiance... and they all love them!!Thanks :-)
