Simply - The best there is.
Tastes Phenomenal. I'm an accomplished chef ... and this all natural ingredient formula is ridiculously good. .28 cents per oz is a great price here.Don't believe me .... TRY IT ! You will not make sauce again. Kind of like making your own showlaces ... let RAO do it ! Wonderful flavors ... this sauce must simmer low and slow for HOURS to meld the flavors like this.

Game. Changer.
If you haven't tried Rao's yet, you have got to get on that! It's worth every penny. I've had people who make their own sauce from scratch tell me that this is just as good as the real deal. It tastes nothing like other jarred sauces. It's truly a luxury and having food this good in a jar for a quick meal makes it a staple in our house. Often I'll saute an onion and a lb of beef (or pork) and add 3 jars of Rao's for some bolognese sauce. Simply the best.

Absolutely the best.
This is the only jarred marina I eat, puts all others to shame, don,t make sauce from scratch any longer. This can be eaten right out of the jar, perfect consistency, delicious taste, absolutely the best.

Rao Girl
Great Stuff but don’t buy from Golden Gate plus. They promised 32 oz jars and sent 24 oz jars. They did not sent me the additional 4 jars. It was too much to send back- so don’t buy from them. Any other time I have gotten the correct order.

They changed their recipe to cut corners, now it tastes less good
this was a 5 star sauce, now it's a four star. they have started cutting corners in the last few months (as of 10/15/12) and this sauce is no longer as good of quality. im very disapointed as i previously said this is the best sauce, but it isn't anymore...now its just the best JARRED sauce. they started being cheaper and the quality suffered, and im angered that they cut corners and pulled the bait and switch.

This review is for the Rao's 12 pack
Okay, first, Rao's makes the only bottled pasta sauce I will eat. I also have the Rao's cookbook and often make it from scratch but I'm kind of lazy, so... Anyhow, the quality of the sauce isn't really the question for me. Right now I'm dealing with the value and Use By date of the 12-pack. And it's good. The sauce for the 32 oz jars ends up considerably cheaper than buying it at the market and the use by date is well over a year and a half (like there's the slightest chance these won't be gone within a few months, tops). So, if you are a fan, if you use Rao's Marinara Sauce often, or would do so if it were just a little bit cheaper/easier to find/whatever, get it. It's an excellent value, and is really well packed/padded to prevent breakage. The only problem I had was finding room for all the sauce in my teeny tiny kitchen cabinets.

Don’t order it from Amazon!
4 of the 12 jars arrived broken!

Huh?
I don't understand where the positive reviews come from. The sauce is overpriced and unexceptional. Fresh garlic, basil and Muir Glen diced tomatoes cooked in a splash of olive oil takes minutes to prepare and is far superior in it's taste and simplicity.
