Decent helmet but with design “holes” and oddities
This is a decent helmet especially for the price, hence my rating on the higher side, but it does have some design “holes” (literally) as I note below:(1) The helmet has holes on the top presumably for venting, but that design combined with the coarse-perforated inner lining means that it is not rain proof. Rain water or melting snow will simply run right in. This may not be a problem if you are unlikely to be skiing or snowboarding unless its sunny, but I got it for commuting on my bicycle in winter, so I need more rain protection. My current biking helmet is aerodynamic and has big holes (by design) for summer venting with no ear protection forcing me to wear separate ear muffs, so I bought this skiing helmet hoping to get both head and ear protection.(2) The top of the ear flaps are hard plastic and are not attached to the helmet itself. They seem to settle in place fine while wearing, but the design feels odd and cheap and fragile, and I see no obvious value of it.(3) It’s less warm compared to other helmets I’ve tried. The inner lining is thin and perforated as I also note above. There is thicker ear protection and it feels warm enough in the high 40s or 50s, but I am not sure if it will be warm enough for me in the 20s or low 30s, as someone who is skinny and gets very cold easily.Overall, this reasonably priced helmet is decent value for the money, looks good, and is functionally fine when the weather is not wet and not too cold (but not otherwise).

Beautiful sky blue helmet
Exactly what we wanted- a lightweight, adjustable, blue helmet for snowboarding, at a reasonable price. It’s a beautiful sky blue color which matches the snow pants. I was only considering helmets which were that color. It will stand out next to a white snow background when trying to find someone on the mountain. I bought a large for a teen, and it’s the right size. The helmet is cushiony on the inside. Ears can be protected from the cold. (But that part of the helmet is also removable if you don’t want your ears covered.) There is a dial to adjust how tight it is on your head. I’ve read other reviews of helmets (in this price range) that the dial doesn’t hold and you have to re-adjust. Not sure if that’s the case for this one, since we haven’t used it yet. I think there’s a place for audio. This may have been the only blue helmet with that feature. Nice to keep that option open for when we’re ready to use it. I had purchased the teal blue Wildhorn helmet, also a pretty color, a little darker and more subdued than this Turbo ski helmet. But the Turbo Ski is half the price, brighter, and has all the features we wanted. So we kept this one and returned the other. You get everything you’re looking for in a helmet at a great price. Very happy with this purchase.

Vents are fixed open.
The TurboSke helmet is very light weight and appears to be well made. I also like the low profile look of this helmet. My helmet a size medium does seem to be on the smaller size. I have the back adjustment dial all the way open and the helmet just fits. Consider sizing up if your on the upper range of a size. I don't use goggles or helmet speakers so I can't comment on how well they integrate with this helmet. The vents on this helmet are fixed open with no option to close them. Because the vents are always open I found this helmet to be colder then others I have used. I am going to try a skull cap underneath for colder days. On warmer days I think the venting will be great. For $30.00 bucks this is a great helmet.

Goggles slip off the top/back.
I liked everything about this helmet except one thing. My goggles can't be worn on the front of it without them sliding over the top of the helmet and off the back. I've tried several different goggles on it but they all slide off. The only way I can keep them on when not using the goggles is to perch them over the front rim but then it becomes harder to see. I have tried to make adjustments like loosening the goggle strap so there isn't so much tension but nothing helps. I haven't seen any other helmets at the slopes having this problem. I plan to return it.

Excellent ski helmet
I just received this ski helmet and I did have one minor issue with a tab on the helmet that wasn't the fault of the seller and an easy fix and it was remedied promptly by TurboSke customer service (Jack). That said, the helmet is very lightweight and comfortable. My son has a Smith helmet and in truth, I think this is lighter and a much better value. Some of the TurboSke helmet models do not come in the large size that is 59-63cm but I got the one that did and it fits great and adjustment is great. Only recommendation I have to TurboSke is I wish that they would make their helmet with a smaller or no logo as it would probably appeal to an even wider range of people who don't want to be 'seen' with an offbrand name but want a top quality, comfortable helmet. Either way, if this is an issue for anyone, you can easily put a sticker over the label but the bottom line is that the helmet is well made, comfortable, lightweight and low profile.

It's super super lightweight
Safety is the most important thing I choose a ski helmet, this helmet has a certification label from ASTM, it should be able to protect my head adequately. My first impression is that this helmet is super lightweight, compared with my old Smith helmet, I realized that that old one was heavy and bulky. I went through the introduction of this helmet, and learned that it was made using the latest in-mold construction technology, a thin shell (instead of thick ABS plastic shell) was fused on the foam liner and formed an integrated piece of helmet, in this way a helmet can be made lighter however can still maintain high levels of protection. For anyone who wants to choose a lightweight helmet, I highly recommend this one.

Looks great, feels high quality, good price, warm ears!
Didn't take any hits to the head on the recept trip luckily, but this helmet feels like it can take a good knock. Ears were super warm. Fits comfortably, looks much more expensive than it is!
