I got a sample of this in Rawbox (a subscription box) a few months back and kept it around but didn't use it for a long time. And then, over the weekend, my gums were pretty inflamed (I had been drinking too much diet soda and the acid was causing problems). I remember using peroxide mouthwashes when I had braces and got sores from the brackets and wires, so I figured I would give this a try.One other thing to mention, I'm just using this as mouthwash. I am still brushing with regular toothpaste (I have some tooth damage from grinding my teeth back when I was in grad school and I really need fluoride), but I use this as a mouthwash periodically during the day, really focusing on the area with the most inflamed gums (maybe 3-4 times per day, just when I feel like I need it). And, after only about two days, I am already a lot better -- very little pain (really, almost none) and no more bleeding gums when I brush my teeth. The sensitivity in that area is going away, too.This is very gentle and it is not strongly flavored. You do get a mild minty/herbal flavor from the essential oils, but it is definitely tolerable. This is much more pleasant to rinse with than, say, Listerine, and it does not contain alcohol. It foams a bit; that's the hydrogen peroxide doing its work. (Due to the hydrogen peroxide, make sure you don't swallow this.)This is not going to protect your gums if you keep doing the things that got you into trouble in the first place. (Sadly, I have had to give up diet soda for now.) And if anything is hurting/bleeding in your mouth for more than a few days, you should really get to a dentist. But if you catch your problem early, like I did, this can be part of a combination strategy for getting your gums back to health.I would agree that this helps freshen the breath -- the peroxide kills germs and the essential oils probably contribute a bit, as well. I can't say whether it whitens the teeth after only two days, I'm mostly using this for the health of my gums. Any whitening down the road will be an added benefit. For what it's worth, this is a clear, non-viscous liquid.Anyway, glad I decided to give this a chance, as it has really been helping.

Life-changing product right here, folks. No other mouthwash compares even remotely. Natural, healthy, refreshing, effective, and guess what? After a few uses, it whitens your teeth. I was thrilled and surprised. I hadn't read any info on the product beforehand--I just started using it because I like how hydrogen peroxide works as a germ-killer without any nasty smell (on cuts and for cleaning toothbrushes). Literally, after a couple of days, I thought, "Gee, that's weird, I could swear my teeth look whiter." And I thought, no, it can't be. So I got my young teen daughter to try it. She's been wearing braces for three years and her teeth have gradually gotten dingier. Not easy to get a young teen to do a good job with oral hygiene, believe me. She was so proud--her teeth--with the messy braces on--looked better than ever.Also, I can say, from reading some of the other reviews, we hadn't been using the product according to directions--just used it as a mouthwash--swish-swish, gargle-gargle, spit and rinse. I imagine if you use it for the recommended time of swishing, it would be even more effective at the whitening.All in all, am so delighted with this mouthwash, there is not a chance in heck I will ever use another brand. You can see the bubbling as it does its job. Your breath smells fresher. It's amazing. Lastly, I like the taste, which is to say, it almost has not taste at all--very light, slightly minty, NOT sweet. What it does have is a texture--it immediately starts bubbling. LOVE. THIS. PRODUCT.

I am not a mouthwash person because they always hurt my mouth as they were so strong. This is a very nice rinse. I bought it to help whiten my teeth and I usually have a terrible taste in my mouth in the mornings. I like the fact that it is so natural. I got the wintergreen and it really tastes great and does leave my mouth clean. I can tell that it has whitened my teeth. I am a heavy coffee and tea drinker. I have only had it for 10 days. I would recommend it.

I would have given this a 5 star rating but apparently the company changed the flavor of their formula (I didn't realize that fact until I actually went to use it) and I don't like the taste as much as before. HOWEVER, this is a very effective product and taste is very subjective anyhow. Heads up- if you are bothered by the sensation of fizzing/foaming in your mouth or have a very sensitive gag reflex then I recommend you don't buy this product. I personally like the "foam factor" of hydrogen peroxide because it lets me know that it is killing all that nasty mouth bacteria effectively!! It is amazing how much this product makes your mouth foam up when you are sick... it SHOWS you how hard it is working!! I love that it is a natural product containing 4 basic healthful ingredients that you can feel good about using.

i have a VERY sensitive mouth and this mouth wash is perfect. it works amazing and will make you feel very refreshed! i use it in my water pic and also before i brush my teeth(if i don’t use the water pic) and it definitely works. makes your mouth feel clean! i use all their products.

I have used this every morning for years. It is clean and minty but not too strong. My mouth just feels cleaner and fresher, plus it is good when I have minor mouth sores. They seem to heal faster. Sometimes when I travel I forget to take it along, and I really notice the difference. Hate to be without it.

The product does what it says and that’s all you can ask for! My back tooth was hurting and I’ve been using this mouthwash for about a month and the pain is gone. It doesn’t have a natural sweetener, so I was thrown off at first, but it doesn’t taste bad, it’s just different than other unnatural mouthwashes. I’m happy with this product. I hope this helps!
