Great addition to my tank
Great amount of cattapa leaves. The package comes sealed and the leaves are great. Like the size of the leaves.

Great Leaves!
I have a 5 gallon aquarium that my Betta fish resides in. We recently did a complete tank/water upgrade and I hated how "sterile" and "bright" the water looked. My Betta friend doesn't need to swim in a doctors office. So I did some research on what to do to "tint" the water color. But ALAS - leaves. Sounds kinda ridiculous, but the more I researched the more I realized how beneficial these actually are. So, I bit the bullet and spent money on leaves....as I watched leaves fall off my tree lol. The poor Amazon driver delivered these the next day, close to 10pm. I felt ridiculous that this poor person had to deliver LEAVES to a dingo trying to help out his fish friend at 10pm. Anyways. I don't have patience so I didn't boil the leaves. Just added a few of those bad boys in and hoped for the best. The directions say that they will sink after a day or two, but again, my wonderful patience helped them out and held them in the water for a few minutes and they ended up sinking. A couple of days later I didn't notice any color change. So, patient me, decided to add 5 more leaves for S&G's. A couple of days later, and woooohhh, the water looks great! All water parameters are great, the Betta is blowing bubbles like crazy, and everyone is happy. I highly recommend these! If you took the time to actually read this, by all means, purchase these. They are great and look great!

Legit. Your fish will love them!
Very happy with these leaves. I ordered the small ones. They are about 2-3 inches long. Saw some negative reviews so I was a bit apprehensive, but they arrived in perfect condition and a good number of leaves for a price I thought. Take a handful and boil them in a small amount of water until they turn dark brown. Let the water cool, then add leaves to your aquarium. Add all or some of the tea-colored water too, depending on if you want a blackwater/naturalistic stream-look. My kuhli loaches LOVE the leaves and because the leaves give them lots of hiding places, the loaches spend more time out being cute instead of hiding. Over time the leaves will turn dark brown and start to decay. You have to periodically add more.I have read the leaves help acidify the water, but I have not found that to be the case. I guess if you had tons of leaves you'd eventually lower the pH, in theory. My water is very alkaline and hard and I find the easiest solution is to just add a little Seachem acid buffer with each water change.

Did not darken my water
I used these in a small 3 gallon tank.what I really wanted was to have the tannins darken the water a bit but even when using several leaves, the water did not change color at all. I still like to believe that they provide some health benefits to my neo shrimps

Satisfied! And so are my bettas!
These seem to be safe for my aquariums. My bettas don’t seem to mind them. They give off some nice tannin. For a pack of dried out leaves, these seem a bit expensive. All of the leaves have been clean in appearance and had minimal damage. With these being dried leaves, they can be a bit brittle but it was nice that most of them were intact and not crushed. I am satisfied with this company’s products. I have bought about 5 different bags. I noticed they have several different labels for the same kind of product (small catappa leaves), but that is ok, they have all been satisfactory. I am pretty sure I will be ordering more in the future.

Fish love them
Glad i was able to find ones that didn’t release so much tannins in the water. If you did want your tank darker you can always boil them and use the boiled tannin water in your tank but i like to see my fish lol

Really worth it the buy
The 100 count comes in 2 sealed pouches. The quality of the leaves is good. Our Betta seems to enjoy the water more once we started adding them into the tank. First we tried the bark pieces but those were gross quickly. The leaves slowly released the tannins into the water without adding a film to the surface of the water.

So so
I am not sure in quality of these Betta almond leaves. Whenever I was buying it before I would have to put it in water to releases tannins because I don't want water in my aquarium to be very dark. But these leaves didn't released any tannins at all.

صغير جدا
لا يعمل جيدا في احواض النباتية كما في منتجات من شركات أخرى يوجد شركات تنتج افضل من هذا بكثير
