Great first night!
So far, one night down, I'm in love <3 Finally ordered this hoping it to be the solution for what our daughter should wear at night. The overnight temperatures this winter have been all over the place and each night was a guessing game as to what she should wear to bed. The popular fleece sleeping sacks would often make her wake up sweating, but the thinner cotton ones weren't enough either...I love all of the Aden and Anais products that I have, so was so happy to see they had thicker sleeping bags! I just knew the layers of muslin would be warm yet breathable and would allow my daughter to be finally comfortable all night. And so far after last night, I am impressed!!! She finally slept without fussing one time! She also loves the material and sleeps with a swaddle blanket every night (and drags one around all day). She was so cute stroking the material of the sleeping bag like it was her favorite blankie :)I can't speak to it's longevity yet after just one use, but it washed up well and is super soft. The zipper seems attached well and strong, but I'm going to try to be careful with it given other reviews. For sizing, my daughter is a very small 15 months at 17 lbs and 28 or so inches, and a size medium is perfect with some growing room for the rest of the season. For us, it's worth the price if it buys some restful nights and will be looking to purchase at least 1 more :) I plan to use them for our new daughter, due in April!

These Sleeping Bags are AWESOME!
We have been using these sleeping bags since our little one was born. They are the perfect fabric to ensure that your baby is not too hot (the lighter bags in the summer) and not too cold (the cozy ones in the winter). We use the cozy ones longer during the year since we live in the northeast, and since it is most similar (weight, fabric) to an "adult" blanket. Our son happens to be a little heater (his body is always a bit warmer than average), so we are able to put him in these cozy bags without socks, and he stays nice and warm (but never gets sweaty) all night. We've tried the fleece halo bags, and they just don't compare to Aden and Anais. A&A is so much better. Yes, the muslin fabric does wash and get softer and a little more "worn" looking, but frankly, this worn-ness gives the bag comfort and softness (kind of like your child's favorite plush toy or blanket). It is just the perfect fabric for comfort. Our child is almost 2, and as some of his friends' parents are switching their children to toddler beds because their child is climbing out of the crib...this product has an extra bonus in that it keeps our child from being able to swing his leg up to the rails of the crib. So, not only is this bag a great blanket (that stays on), it's also a climbing deterrent! (Oh, and the cute fabric designs can't be beat.)

I really want to love this thing
Wow. I really want to love this thing, but the zipper is the CHEAPEST zipper I've ever seen. My kid loves the giraffes and the sleeping bag is cozy, but this zipper is going to break anytime now (and we've only started using this last week). I also own this thing in small and medium, and the zippers are better on those... weird. Serious discrepancies going on with the design and manufacturing... for such a reputable brand with USUALLY high quality stuff, this is a disappointment. I hope they've fixed this by now (I bought this a year ago). If it was only $15, I would say buy it. I paid $40 and feel ripped off.

Soft and cozy
We bought this sleep bag as a safer alternative to swaddling. Our baby liked being swaddled for sleep, but kept breaking out of the blankets and throwing them over his face. This sleep bag works great! It's warm and so soft -- i didn't know it was possible to make babies even more snuggly. I love how the zipper is on the bottom, so you can't accidentally catch baby's skin in the zipper (and he can't unzip it himself). As a few people have mentioned, these do run big, but all the excess is on the bottom, so you don't have to worry about baby getting tangled or anything. It's also great for travel, since it keeps baby warm yet still portable. No worrying about blankets tangled in luggage or lost on airport floors! The only problem is the inner lining. The zipper keeps snagging onto it and shredding it, then getting stuck in the threads. A couple of times, we've had to use sheer force to force the zipper down and get baby out. I keep cutting the threads, but then the zipper snags and it starts all over again. Judging from other reviews, this seems to be a common problem.Besides that, though, this sleeping bag is wonderful. It's warm and soft. I do wish it had a way to bind the arms (some come with velcro flaps that you can wrap around to imitate swaddling), but as it is, it works very well.

Comfortable but snags too easily
I tend to try and buy things that are practical and reasonably priced. I splurged on one of these sleepers when I saw it on sale. I had heard good things about the brand and wanted to give it a try. Both my husband and I like the sleeper material. It's definitely nice to see our son cozy in it during the warmer weather but not feel like he's overheating. It's been about three weeks now and I've found several snags. One I know happened because my fingernail caught a thread. I am concerned about how these snags will unravel after several washes. We use velcro bibs and I try to keep them away from this sleeper because I know any contact will probably ruin this.If it was more durable I would consider buying the next size to keep up with his growth. These are kids we're talking about here, I don't have to time to be that careful. Given the cost and the delicate nature of the fabric, I won't be buying another one.**Update**The sleeping bag did eventually result in the inner layer ripping on one seam. The sleeper was still usable but was definitely annoying to have this frayed edge all the way down one side near the zipper. We continued to use it until he grew out of it without any other rips. I did send a picture to the company letting them know of the rip so that hopefully they can find a way to improve their future products.
