Just disappointing .... UPDATE!!! L❤️VE!!!
These burned out and will not light just two weeks past the return date There’s plenty of sun there’s no reason why they shouldn’t light Except they are just low quality They’re not easy to mount I would move on to another set Which is what I’m going to do. 😢. . . UPDATE!!!! I realized after my review that a squirrel Or Hurricane force winds which we have had in my area, must have moved the solar panel that I screwed into my deck post to not get sun light. After my review the company was so nice to reach out to me 15 days after my warranty had expired and offered to replace them. I had already realize the issue and told them it was no longer needed but I was too embarrassed to explain. But I am going to explain why I am editing my poor review. They are beautiful and I get so many compliments!!!

Not What I Bought Them For, But Pleasantly Surprised
The media could not be loaded. I bought these solar waterfall lights because I'd seen similar in some exterior scenes of Grey House on the TV Show "The Good Witch" and that was the vibe I wanted for my home and garden. At first I hung them from a tree as a test, and was pleased with the results. But when we started restoring the hundred year-old waterfall in our decorative pond, I decided to drape them over the rocks to stand in for the water.I loved the look and so did my neighbors! They're quite bright and are the first thing I see when I round the curve to my home.I've received many compliments on them. What's even better is that now that the waterfall is functional, the lights complement the water cascading over the rocks!I'll be investing in more to hang from the trees as originally planned, but my favorite is the way these sway and float in my waterfall and pond.

Replace the AA battery if the lights don't work
A lot of the low star reviews talk about the lights only working for a short amount of time, or not at all, and I don't think ppl realize that there is an AA battery inside the solar panel component that needs to be replaced periodically. Mine stopped working after a few weeks, so I unscrewed the back of it to see if I could fix whatever was wrong and saw the battery. After replacing the battery, it's back to working.Another thing that can cause the lights to not work is if the solar panel is close to, or angled toward, another strong light source when it's dark out. So if you have a bright porch light, or other bright garden light, make sure you place the solar panel in a spot where it won't register those.(Ok, enough with the tech support, lol.) I bought these for a watering can light decoration for my garden and they look really nice. They've held up to being repositioned several times and a few thunderstorms and the only times they've stopped working are for the reasons already mentioned above.

Great in power outages!!
We loose power frequently from New England storms. We have oil lamps and everything we need, but decided over the summer to make decorative light walls in the kitchen and bathroom using solar or battery string lights. We got two of these battery waterfall lights in a few days before the latest storm in Maine knocked out the power for 2 days.Let me tell you, we used EBL AA Rechargeable Batteries 2800mAh, and these lights are still going strong! We kept them on the bright setting while we were up and about, then on the dimmest overnight...and of course off in the daylight. It's now been 4 days since we first turned these on, and we have not needed to change the batteries yet!The light is so pretty in the rooms that we've been using them even though the power is back on. They cast such a soothing pretty light, they have a soft soothing effect while providing enough ambient light to cook, read, clean, etc...perfect for a light wall. I've ordered 2 more for bedrooms today.I would Highly recommend these to anyone who looses power often, or is off grid. Get good rechargeable batteries, and remember to turn on the power switch on the battery pack or the lights won't turn on.UPDATE - They stayed on with the batteries I mentioned above for 12 DAYS! On the lowest setting, for 10-12 hours a night. I'm getting 4 more. These will keep us out of darkness through most storms, with 2 sets of charged batteries, 24 days :) LOVE, love, love

Worked for one night..
I had high hopes for these little lights. They should have been the perfect finishing touch for my patriotic (red, white and blue ) solar light garden I put together in my front yard gardens. After delivery I charged the solar panel for 2 full days before setting the lights up. They’re set outdoors in direct sunlight for most of the day, so they receive more than ample light to sustain a full charge just like all my other lights do. The fairy lights worked for the first night (at least while I was outdoors taking pictures) and have failed to work properly since. I’ve tried switching them off and back on again, they light up for a couple minutes and go dead. It’s really a shame because they looked great while they actually worked. This is truly a letdown.

Pretty but is not waterproof as described
I bought this to wrap around a big candelabra chandelier on my patio as an alternative to using candles on it. It's very long with a lot of lights, and it looked great when I set it up. the description said it was waterproof. But after only a few uses, I could not shut it off without taking the batteries out. It had rained a few days before, and the battery compartment was completely full of water. I dried it out and was able to still use it, except the remote no longer works to shut it off. I have to turn it off with the button on the battery compartment, by cycling through all the blink patterns until it shuts off. Pretty lights, but not good in an area where they might get rained on.

Very beautiful, bought 4, one remote controls all of them. Takes double 4-AA batteries.
