Highly reccomended
I captain small oassenger ships so I needed a good binocular that I can take on different boats with me. I held out for awhile deciding on which to get and finally got these. Very cery happy I did. The construction is good and quality is great. Very ergonomic to hold and adjust and most importantly they are comftorable to look thru. The case is nice as well. Very happy.

It does not help a person who has tremors...I believe it's called false advertisement
the premise for purchasing these binoculars by STEINER MARINE COMMANDER SERIES was for person who has TREMORS. The results spending $ l,l00. This company did not live up to their hype. On the ship a tech person spent an hour with me. The end result was IT WAS NOT WHAT IT SAID WHAT IT WAS. I was very disappointed. I spent *$ l,l00. for nothing!!! I had to balance my elbows on a mat on the railing of the ship. bummer!

Nulla da dire, built to last e si vede.

Wesentlich helleres Bild ! Erscheint auch größer bei 135m Sehfeld. Gruß R.W.

I had previously bought a steiner binocular from Ebay, unknown to me that they also had binoculars assembled in China or Thailand to save on expensive German labour costs, these are the fully made in Germany version and are worth every penny more. For a start you get a floating strap, which keep the binoculars afloat till you or, someone can retrieve them, this is a £50 option on lesser binoculars from steiner, also as standard you get a soft neoprene strap too. The field of view is exceptionally good, no dark spots or blurred areas, just crystal clear vision. These are particularly good as twilight starts it's desent, where images are still bright and clear. These glasses will be used for a variety of uses from coastal observation to birdwatching and occasionally as spotting for my rabbit shooting friend.

After 16yrs with a top-of-the-range Nikon “marine” binocular in 7x50 (with compass) that went a little water-marked inside one tube, and Nikon UK saying “it’s too old for us to clean/fix” I looked for a replacement. It came down to the Steiner Commander or the Fujinon FMTR SX2 (both available with or without compass). Wanting simplicity, I elected for no compass and finally decided on the Steiner Commander sold here on Amazon. Having now spent a good few hours with it, I can only say I am BLOWN AWAY with its quality and ability to capture light and detail. The only negatives are the neck straps ( they both feel cheap, certainly won’t last 20 years). The travel case is, however, superb. Yes, these binoculars are expensive but at this level you only buy them ONCE in a lifetime. 5 stars.
