Gluten-free, delicious, not cheap
My gut, which has turned into a rather accurate gluten detector, happily confirms these to be gluten-free. The taste is that of traditional ramen or Chinese noodles. They are mild with somewhat of a nutty, earthy flavor without any off-flavors. The texture has the pleasant chewy springiness of ramen, although they are cut like thin spaghetti for quick cooking. As expected, a single cake makes for a modest portion; I'd go with two per diner. They work best when you add them to your broth or soup after rinsing. Cooking them in the broth works, too, but I would not recommend them for dishes with a separate dipping sauce as they are quite sticky by themselves. They retain some of their curliness after cooking which makes for a nice presentation.

Maybe this is good if you've never tried the gluten version?
I don't like giving bad reviews when the reason is purely a matter of taste, in this case literally. Trying to "go gluten free" as a lifestyle choice. As a lover of Ramen decided to give this a try. To me, it really missed the mark on every count. Poor texture that clumps when cooking, looks an unappetizing gray when done, and tastes like the utterly bland paste it is. Unlike its venerable wheat-based cousin, this offshoot refuses to soak up any flavor at all. Ditto for color. BLECK!! And BLECK again. They give you 4 in the package. After 2 tries with added attempts to really dress it up with plenty of chicken and fresh veggies I decided it detracted from everything else in my bowl. Gave the remaining 2 to my gluten-free expert friend. She described it as "fine." So, I'm averaging my personal taste and performance score of "1" with the "give it the benefit of a doubt" score of "4" then rounding up to give the merchant a better-than-fair 3.

These are great for any reason!
Great option for going gluten & starch free. I have to eat an Anti-Candida diet and will use them for ramen, or stir-fry with Coconut Aminos from Trader Joe’s. Very good taste and texture, by far my favorite wheat free noodle. I can eat my favorite dishes again thanks to these.

Delicious
Delicious. Stir while cooking. Make sure you rince. Good with Sriracha or any chilli.

they are the color of dirty dish water
Taste is awful. After noodles are cooked, they are the color of dirty dish water, but not as tasty

I would not recommend these sticky, goopy noodles
The package arrived with multiple perforations. I ate the product anyway because I'm a risk taker. I found the noodles to be kind of sticky/goopy/starchy. Maybe there is a trick to preparing them that I am missing. The seller is nice.

Not tasty
Poor choice in noodles, appears grayish resembling residue of mop wash. A waste of money, very unappetizing.

Amazing Soba (Buckwheat) Noodles!
I work in an environment where I need to have a healthy snack and these Noodles provide some of the best options! Easy to cook, you can combine them with any kind of soup, or cook them and eat them dry. Easily digested, ideal for a great fast gluten-free meal. Highly Recommended!
