Bought this shaver beard trimmer for my sons 29th birthday. His words "Great piece of kit" He loves the clean line finish on his beard, the options you get. He was well happy.

I have used the product 2 or 3 times at the moment. The trimmer feels light but solid, does it job and has a lot of lengths to choose so quite accurate; the amount of tools provided is also great, with precision trimmer, a 'clean shaving tool' and a Gillette pro glide (which I have not used)The only thing I noticed is the clean shaving tool for the trimmer is not the best. E.g. on the neck area, even after a first pass of the trimmer with no guard on, you need many passes to get an acceptable result - and even then it misses quite a few hairs.

I like the fact that you can put on the 1-10 trimmer and adjust its length via the dial to cut between those lengths. The extra stubble trimmer and other attachments are good too, as well as the extra length trimmer guard 11-20 also controlled via the dial to change the trimmer to the next size up. Usually It’s a pain using normal hair clippers without this dial feature because you’re constantly having to change the length of the cutting combs, this just changes the length at a turn of the dial.Also has a Gillette fusion handle and two blades which comes in useful and a storage bag to keep the stuff in. Charges in an hour, via the 3 pin UK plug that came with it, not a two pin one as other reviewers describe. There is also a circular charger which you can plug the cable into and then sit your trimmer into, but you can plug the cable straight into the trimmer so can’t really see the point of the circle charger thing.Used it once so far and it trimmed my beard to an attractive number 3 ;-) may let my bear grow longer next time before I trim it and see how that goes. Bought one of those beards capes with it so I can attach it to the bathroom wall and trim my beard over the sink and it all falls in the apron. So far so good.

Bought as a present for my husband. Good quality, tried it straight away, even cut, no damage to his skin. He has occasional skin problems but it has caused no aggravation.

Bought it back in 2021 and it still works perfectly. Best thing about it is its battery. Charges reasonably quickly and actually lasts very long compared to other trimmers. I also have 3000 series which lasts half the time of this one and charges in 10 hours. 3000 seems sharper though, but it might be the fact that it's newer.This also comes with a lot of accessories and a very handy zip bag.One little drawback is the EU plug, Braun can't be bothered to make UK ones. Not a big issue though, but be aware you'll need an adapter.

Trying to decide on a beard trimmer from the dozens on offer almost reduced me to paralysis because of over-analysis since no product was fully endorsed by all its users, but I eventually decided on this Braun model and have no regrets whatsoever. It has proved to be excellent, extraordinarily easy to adjust, light to hold yet powerful in use. I've now used it several times to trim my beard and my wife likes the result - so it must be ok! No snagging of odd hairs yet, but I am using Wahl oil on the blades based on past electric shaver experiences and I think this helps. Battery life seems perfectly adequate since I'm still on the original first charge. Nice bonuses are (1) the charging stand which allows the Trimmer to stand upright when not in use and thus occupy little space on my small bathroom shelf; and (2) the little zip storage bag which is just large enough for the Trimmer, accessories and the charger making packing for travel very easy indeed. Overall, I am very pleased with my Braun purchase and have nothing negative to say at all, other than I wish I had been able to decide upon it without having to scrutinise all of its competitors for hours. To conclude: I highly recommend this Braun product.
