A good crowbar!
Don’tcha hate tools that sprout legs and walk off? Everyone reading this has been a victim at one time or another! This is NOT my first crowbar and I needed it as a go-to for most things involving basic crowbar usage. I do like the design of the head with the flat part. Never having one quite like that, I figured I’d give it a try and wasn’t disappointed. Try one and see what you think. Besides… It’s a Stanley!

Bought this to remove 10 penny nails from pressure treated lumber
The nails I used on pressure treated lumber have a layer of glue on them which makes them very difficult to remove. This is strong enough to pull them although some had the heads pull off. Its difficult to find any USA made fasteners these days. Everything has declined in quality and durability that is a nail or screw. Overall when tearing apart old work I don't see how it is possible without a wrecking bar such as this. It is heavy and yellow painted so you cannot forget it or lose it like the ones painted dark blue or black. A quick scan of your work site and your eye will spot the bright yellow color. I only wish they made more tools in dayglo colors like orange and green.

Excellent! HEAVY DUTY!! Highly recommended!
I'm a contractor and a lot of the jobs I do are remodels so I do a lot of demolition work and I also have to "straighten out" shotty work. So I need(ed) something that can pry, lift, twist, jar loose etc.. large heavy objects and structures. This bar has met every standard it's meant too and more. I've put it through the test time and time again and its yet to fail me. I'm very very happy and would recommend any contractor or homeowner who needs a breaker bar/large pry bar for anything!

Heavy Duty Tool
Heavy is the key word. This may not be obvious from the picture but the shaft of this tool is almost 1 in in diameter, which is a lot. It is extremely strong and heavy. Heavy for this tool is not a flaw but the opposite it is very handy to have the heft for demolition. One thing that does not match the picture is the finitsh on both ends. The picture shows that the nail puller end is ground to a sharp edge. My bar has stamped edges on both sides which a not even formed to a sharp edge. I can grind it myself, but I expect that the factory should've done this especially since the picture shows this as ground to a sharp edge

Hooray for leverage!
I bought this to tear apart an old deck and it made easy work of the job. Of course, I still needed to use a small pry bar for the tight spaces, but this thing was a beast for tearing apart the big stuff.I also bought the Stanley 55-130 30-inch Forged Hexagonal Steel Ripping Bar. The FatMax costs more, but it is a much better tool and worth the extra money. On the other hand, if it's a weapon you're looking for, the old-school Stanley 55-130 30-inch Forged Hexagonal Steel Ripping Bar is the superior piece of steel. The simpler, smoother hooked end and hexagonal shape of that bar is more comfortable and easier to hold onto when you're plunging the straight end into zombie eye sockets.

Take that, head crabs!
Rips boards off doors in every 'escape' game we play, effortlessly. Thank god for this thing, really. Without it we would often be trapped in some musty living room belonging to an uncle who left us a mansion or skull-lined island cave whenever we crash looking for our world-renowned explorer auntie. As soon as we find it, we know the darned door is coming down. Be careful, though... very useless whenever electrical circuits are involved. Dynamite when smacking head crabs but really, get a better tool from Barney as soon as you can. Oh, probably good IRL for destroying frame structures, too, but who really cares?

Great Quality Tool!
The Stanley wrecking bar is what you need to have on any construction site. I got this one for some demolition I was working on and it was perfect. The 36" length gave it the ability to get into spaces and work some magic! I took down a room full of plaster and lath in little over two days with this tools help.Highly recommend it for both quality and easy of use!
