Mohu Leaf is working great for my mom! Well worth the investment.....:)
We couldn't afford mom's burgeoning Cable bill and she's a senior and only watches the basic channels anyway. I was surprised at how paper thin the antenna was. We purchased basic internet and phone for mom via Optimum and the installer placed the Antenna high in the window for better reception in mom's 2 bedroom apartment in the north bronx, New York. The Channels were pristine and clear and came in great after scanning all of the channels. But there was a problem. We couldn't get Channel 7 ABC and that is mom's favorite channel! All of the other channels came in great, but Channel 7 and my mom was heart broken. I scanned all the channels again and still no Channel 7.So I put some of my Old school hardware tech skills to work and checked the cable in the back of the TV which was a little loose and secured it in place with some very strong tape. And Channel 7 was trying to come in, but only intermittently and pretty pixelated. So I got mom's ladder and moved the antenna from the top of the window to the middle, all the while moving her window shades and Voila! Now she has Channel 7 ABC, back again. Not only does she have Channel 7, but all of the basic channels and some extra channels where she can watch movies. She's happy as a clam AND her bill is a LOT lower, too. Thank you! Debra

Good but not good
This antenna, like the one from 1byone is being falsely advertised. The ad says it will pick up signals within a 25 mile radius. BUT WHAT THEY DON'T SAY - is that you have to amplify the signals it is picking up. So - to be clear - if you attache this antenna to a powered device (like our Zenith HDTV converter box) then you too can pick up over seventy (70) channels. But if you just plug it in to something like the ATI HDTV USB device for your computer (which isn't powered) then you get almost nothing. This is the problem I think others who say this thing doesn't work are running in to. You need to amplify the signals. When you do - it really works well. But the sellor should point this out in their ads because I spent several days trying everything including carrying around the computer in one hand and the antenna in another. We live 14 miles away from two towers which carry somewhere around 85 channels. So if it worked by itself it should have picked all of these channels up. But unpowered - about four channels. Powered - over seventy.

Awesome antennae!
I currently live in Corpus Christi TX and bought this antennae whenever we decided we no longer wanted to pay for cable. I really just wanted to watch football during football season which is mostly on local channels. Super easy set up, plug it into the back of the TV and hang it up on the wall. It comes with Velcro attachments and thumbtack type attachments. We used the Velcro to attach it to a window thinking this would be the best location in our living room for it. We get 26 channels including ABC, NBC, CBS, and 2 Fox channels. I got to watch all football games that were broadcasted on local channels and the picture was super clear HD all from a tiny little thing on my window. Great product. I now have one of these on the living room TV and the TV in my room and easily move them to the TV in the garage. No matter where I put them in the house we get all the channels we need and a super clear image. Sometimes during storms the picture will get fuzzy, but that has happened with any TV service I have even had. For 20 bucks this thing is awesome.

Well designed, but doesn't fit my needs
This Leaf does what it was designed to do. After hooking it up I was able to find 43 air channels in the northern suburbs of Atlanta. A second scan after slight changes to the antenna direction yielded even more (56). When I viewed the channels, I found that ~6-10 really weren't reliable air channels; they would not stay on or connected- probably due to changes in atmospheric conditions due to the cloudy day more than the antenna design. There were another ~6 channels that were is Spanish; I don't speak Spanish so they there were not ones I would watch. Another ~4 channels were religious channels which I am not interested in watching. There were ~8-10 channels that I had not seen before that carried shows from the 1960's-1970's (westerns, comedies, police shows, etc.). That left me with anywhere from 15 to 25 channels to choose from to watch (due to my personal preferences). That included most of the major networks and some stations that carried shows on the upper channels of what my cable network carries. I found that air broadcasting did not provide me the selection of channels to watch of a number of shows that I normally would, so using this - or any other air antenna - does not fit my needs. This is not a knock on the Mohu Leaf antenna, but rather a realization that the antenna just does not fit my needs. The three stars (per the description from Amazon) says that the antenna is "okay" which it definitely is, but I cannot reward it with 4 (like) or 5 (love) stars as I will not be using it (I don't like or love it - it's okay). For those that need an air antenna and are more than okay with the limited channels you'll get, this should work for you just fine. For those looking for an alternative to the high cost of cable or satellite, you are likely to be disappointed. As every city, suburb or community in the country is different, your results could vary greatly.
