This is quite expensive for the size but this is seriously the best fruitcake that I've ever had! (and I've had many) This will be a holiday tradition go to from now on. You get what you pay for.

Really enjoyed the flavor certainly not like a typical fruit cake. Only problem was it could not be sliced. It fell apart and crumbled.

Gift

This is, by far, the best fruit cake I've ever indulged in...and I don't drink! Liquor has a bad taste to me, though I do love fruit cake. But, THIS! This is addictive with a bath of Amaretto and a bit of brandy to finish it off so it keeps. I've had four since Christmas, with two in the freezer. So, have I gained weight from it? Worth every pound.

Soooooooo good! So moist and so delicious! Every almond lover should be treated to this now and then. I'm going to get to another one before a birthday so that I will have a chance of getting more than one serving of it!

I am not paid by anyone, so this is an honest review!! If you think you will be getting any cake at all you are wrong!!! This is a gummy compressed pile of fruit and nuts, and you cannot even cut it, the mess just falls apart into a sticky mess and you have to really dig around to find any cake at all, very disappointing. Usually there is enough cake to offset all the sweet fruits but not here you would do just as well from pouring a bunch of nuts into a bunch of melted gummy bears, whatever cake flavor or texture is there is totally hidden under some overly sweet pile of fruit. It is not dry but gooey enough to be used as excellent plumbing pipe filler to stop leaks. I must have been on Santas naughty boys list I am dead serious this is rubbish. How they can even use the word "cake" at all borders of fraud. If you are really wanting a nice warm slice of fruit cake so the CAKE can get buttered and go with a cup of tea this will not provide the cake experience not even close. It's your money but don't say I didn't warn you.
