Not soft after you wash them.
They were very soft before I washed them. Now they are not really soft and they look like they shrink a bit. I like the design. These will work for a newborn. I will have to buy bigger ones once he gets bigger.

They’re great basic towels. The little hat part is kind of small, but it works. The towels are pretty thin so I would only recommend for warmer months.
