This little guy is a serious peace of mind. I got it for my car after reading about the dangers of lithium-ion battery fires. It's compact and doesn't take up much space, but I feel much safer knowing it's there in case of an emergency. Plus, it's easy to use and the chrome finish looks pretty sharp too.

I hope I never have to use this but it is there if I need it. Reviewing a fire extinguisher is odd since the whole reason for the product is if it will actually do what it says it will do. I trust that this will when the time come. So I am not reviewing the actual use of the extinguisher as I am the product we see everywhere ready for use. I bought this to have ready just in case of a flare up in my laser engraver in which I do not want a powder ruining my expensive machine. The Halotron 1 Agent is electronic friendly and will not make a mess and is effective. This small 1.4 lb unit comes with a mount to secure it to a wall nearby. It looks nice and is ready to go when you need it. I take 1 star away because of the price. I know the industry drives the price but comon. $119 for a fire extinguisher this small is kind of stupid. But we pay the price for getting the right tool for the job. I need the right tool and this was it. Otherwise it's a good product and the final evaluation will be if ro when I need to use it.

All i can really say is that it looks good and looks to be high quality. I bought this particular one because of its compact size and when discharged it wont ruin everything under my hood, mainly electrical components. Seeing as the reason for purchase is for quick response to an engine fire I cant speak on how good it works nor would i like to ever. Bottom line is every modified car should have one and this one came recommended.

If you've ever had a car fire or small fire in the house, and used a powder extinguisher, you know exactly what kind of residue it leaves. It adds to the mess that a fire causes and is a real PITA to clean up. The HG100B is just the right size, with enough gas to put out an aggressive engine fire without causing an incredibly difficult to clean up mess. It's size allows it to fit in one of the nice little storage spots in an SQ5. Great product!

Was looking for a non-dry basis extinguisher for my car and came across this offering for halon based. It is not only functional it looks good, important if it is being used in a car and visible, not stuck under a sink or some such application. Good price for the quality..have not tested it and hope I never have to but it had good consumer report reviews.
