Shiloh Farms - Organic Oat Bran 12 Ounces - 2 Pack

Consistently excellent quality! This has been my go-to bran for a couple years. Add 1/2-1 cup to my baking. Adds fiber without a funny taste and no grainy texture!

This is exceptional oat bran. I used for a digestive aid added to unsweetened applesauce and prune juice to eat two tablespoons daily, but also great for putting in Greek yogurt with added fresh fruit. Add to breads, muffins, or in place of bread crumbs in meat loaf. Great and delicious product.

Shiloh Farms is a name you can trust. They put their customers first, with quality, pricing, and excellent customer service. This organic oat bran is excellent. I keep one bag in the freezer and one opened bag in the fridge. I toss a generous scoopful in my daily yogurt, together with some crushed walnuts and almonds and it makes a delicious and healthy breakfast or lunch. Of course, you can use it more traditionally as a hot breakfast cereal, or even as a filler when making turkey meatloaf!

Shelf life on these two small packages are only good for 5 months upon receiving. Oat bran should be good for much longer. Also, the packaging clearly says it must be cooked before consuming but another section of the package instructs that you can it raw. Will return after reading another reviewer also received the same out dated oat bran.

I mix this with steel cut oats for breakfast to keep my lipids in shape. Tastes fine, dissolves easily, and does the trick. I’m going to add to auto delivery.
