It seems very sturdy and well built and was perfect for my project
I used this to punch out cardstock and heavy duty scrapbooking paper. The edges were sharp and concise. I did not try to double up the thick paper. It does take a bit of effort/hand strength and may cause some hand strain if you plan on punching a lot of shapes.It seems very sturdy and well built and was perfect for my project. Would recommend.

Not really 1.5"
It's a decent punch,but, it is NOT a1.5" hexagon. No matter how you measure it, it's only 1.25". I kept it because it's still a good punch, but I had to order another one to get a true 1.5" hexagon.
