I had Wald folding baskets on the back of my old bike of around 15 years but decided to try these on my new bike. Wald appears to be short in supply or twice the price of these other brands. I ordered the silver (non-painted) version due to my old ones being half black and half scratched due to usage.Apparently they resolved the smell issue mentioned in most reviews since mine came without any mounting hardware - bolts, nuts and rubber sleeves. I ordered two racks and neither has any hardware. The hangers came in perfect condition (not bent) though that could be resolved easily. I had some 3m rubberized tape for any padding under the hooks. I really like how these are spring-loaded. Granted a slip might catch a finger if you're not careful but it's easy to see how they fold/work without being surprised you when open. I was worried how far the bottom outer section stuck out based on pictures. The bottom rack portions are compressed more than I expected so that bottom "lip" doesn't stick out any further than my old Wald rack when it was folded. I'm hoping these outlast my bike.

Ho una bicicletta a cui non è possibile attaccare un cestino sul davanti perché c'è il fanale, mentre dietro, il portapacchi non permette di portare granché.Questo cestino è quello che cercavo: si può agganciare al portapacchi posteriore a lato della ruota.Ne ho presi due perché uso la bici per fare la spesa.L'apertura è automatica, basta sganciare il fermo ed i lati del cestello si alzano grazie a delle molle.Purtroppo ho ricevuto entrambi i cestini con i ganci piegati verso l'interno e sulla piega, la copertura anti ruggine è andata via.Nel pacco ci sono il foglio con le istruzioni, due viti per il fissaggio, due piccoli tubicini trasparenti per proteggere le viti e due tubicini più larghi da infilare nei ganci.Questi ultimi sono impossibili da infilare se non si usa dello spray silicone o del sapone per permettere lo scorrimento.Consiglio di fare molta attenzione al meccanismo di apertura, una volta tolto il gancio che tiene chiusi i lati del cestello, questi si aprono a scatto e ci di può fare male se non si allontanano subito le mani.Aggiornerò la recensione dopo averli collaudati con dei carichi importanti.
