Holds better than any other hair gel I have used. Minimal shine and NOT GREASY. This is the first I have found to be truly matte. Great product.

Works great and holds all day. Does add a bit of shine as well and it doesn’t smell bad. However due to my job my hair gets wrecked on a regular basis so I wanted wax that would be flexible enough to be able to re-style if needed later in the day. I wouldn’t say this stuff is wax but more like a super thick gel that dries after a couple hours and restyling is just not possible. So as a product it’s great but not what I was looking for.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!! The VOGARTE hair styling Aqua Wax is the best hair styling product that I have ever used. This stuff smells really good and it’s easy to work with. It leaves your hair nice and shinny. I can go days with the VOGARTE styling wax in my hair and it will still look fresh. No white fuzzy things in your hair and no mess. Just apply a quarter size of it in your palms of your hands, rub for a few second and ready to apply. Trust me this product is great. DISCLAIMER ALERT!!! Do not buy this product if you don’t want attention. Be ready for a lot of head turners.

This really wasn't what I was expecting, it behaves almost to a tee like an orthodox water based/gel based pomade. Straight out of the can it's more of a clear thick jelly like substance, when I put it in my hair and combed it my hair went stick straight, and was quite hard to get my hair into a more flexible shape. None of that ever happens with the other waxes I've used. Shine - I put it in my dry hair and barely noticed any shine. Although perhaps I would get more shine if I put it in damp hair or used more product. Hold - Wasn't super strong, but it has hold. If you do lots of movement or physical labor this probably won't last. Scent - Not a bad scent, but I really feel like it would depend on the person. Kind of smells like a cheap cologne, and I smelled it throughout the day.

I'm on my third jar of this magic clear styling goop. I choose this particular product because it doesn't dull my hair. It leaves my hair shinny and styled. I always bring my own styling products with me when I have my hair cut. My stylist cuts my hair and then watches me style my short and funky hair. Every time that I unscrew the top of this magic gel, she tells me that she has to buy some to try on her clients. So far she hasn't! I've lost tract of how many times that she has sent me a text to photograph the container and send it to her. I love this and use it daily on my hair. It.leaves my hair shiny and set so that I don't have to fuss with it all day. The next morning it washes cleanly out of my hair.

After trying several hair styling products only to be disappointed, I finally found the product that checks all my boxes. I don't like to spend a lot of time grooming, especially on my hair. I have short thick hair, and I was looking for a product I can quickly apply to slick back my hair and keep it in place all day. As a bonus, it provides a nice shine, doesn't have a strong scent, and it is easy to wash out in the shower, or just brush through the next day when I don't need to wash my hair. I also tried the Vogarte promade. I give that product 4 stars, but I like the wax better.

Update: So it's been over a year since my original review that I forgot to update. I've bought this product multiple times since then as kind of my go-to hair product. It's not the best product out there, but considering the price point and the hold it gives me for someone who has thicker hair, it's great. I've also tried other products since my original review. Most are twice the cost, the hold sucks (maybe it works well for people with thinner hair), or it has a weird smell. Speaking of smell, some people say this product has a weird smell, but I disagree. Maybe I've just gotten used to the smell, but if this does have one, it's one of the milder ones in my opinion. I'm updating to 4 out of 5 because it basically is my go to product. Considering this is what $10? It's worth a try if you're looking for a new product. So to be fair, I haven't tried using the product yet, so this review is purely based off my odd circumstance. Product arrived today, packaging was fine. It had the typical clear plastic over the cover so you couldn't undo the top. Took it off and opened the container to find the seal (inside the container) halfway undone. Inside the container is the actual hair product with a fingerprint in the middle of it lol... I'm not sure if I should be worried but I mean it's hair product...so I'll still use it unless I'm not thinking of something. Wax itself appears to be similar to what other user posted. But yeah, a fingerprint. Not sure how that works but it's there and it's not mine. Will update my review when I actually use the product. Just hope it's actual hair product I'll be putting in my hair and not something weird lol.

In the past I typically bought the first product I saw that was reasonably priced. This is the first product I have used that has a perfect balance between price, quantity and quality. The hold is strong yet natural looking and feeling. Doesn't take much product to achieve the look you want so you won't constantly have to purchase a new container. Give it a shot, I'm glad I did and will be a repeat customer.
