Lawnlift Ultra Concentrated (Green) Grass Paint 1 Quart = 2.75 Gallons of Product.

After reading reviews for this product and others like it, I finally decided to take the plunge and try it for myself. This product is AMAZING ! ! Now, I just want to provide some information because I was confused on if this product was worth buying based on several other reviews. While this product is great, it does have its limitations so I'll get into that now. FIRST, if you have a lawn that is either dead (grass is dead but still rooted) OR dormant, this product will work WONDERS. If you have a dead/dormant lawn with patches of thatch, dirt, leaves, and other stuff, this product will not work AS good. Let me use a white wall as an example. If you have a white wall with scratches, nicks, discoloration on it, a new coat of white paint will make the wall look as good as new (ie: painting a fully intact dead/dormant lawn) but if that same wall has cracks or holes in it, the paint can only do so much to improve the looks. I think many people who give this product bad reviews were expecting to spray this stuff down and have an amazing looking lawn but if your lawn looks like crap, paint isn't what you need to improve it. Lastly, there are several mixing options out there. My advice is to try different ratios on test spots to see exactly what color you want. I live in AZ and was spraying dead Common Bermuda in my yard. I used a 13:1 ratio (water to paint) and matched the color of my green patches PERFECTLY ! ! ! So, keep in mind that this product IS great but can only do so much depending on the condition of your existing lawn.

I use this on my brown dead grass and it looks green! It helps with my HOA Pricks in my neighborhood. They seem more worried about harassing me about my lawn! Didn’t want to get fined so this does the trick! Even turns the dog crap green to match! Has that nice green grass color very natural looking!

I bought the product because I was getting ready to sell my house in CT in late April and the grass had not yet greened like it does in May. In addition I have a golden retriever who has burned some areas from urinating on the lawn so much. Overall the product was OK - it did what it advertised, but is so cost prohibitive that I would not buy it again unless I were selling my house and needed to fill in some spots.I found that if you are patient and have a good eye for color, you can get a pretty good match to your existing grass, but it takes experimenting with ratios. If you are looking at the grass from a distance, it will blend in pretty well and you won't notice. If you stand directly over the grass, you'd probably think that it looked like spray painted grass.The biggest problem was spots that were a combination of dead grass and dirt. When you spray it, the dead grass blends well, but the dirt looks like spray painted dirt. It sounds obvious, but don't buy this and expect to fill in grass-less spots and make it look good. It's simply not going to. This is for taking existing grass that may not be green and making it so.Coverage and price per square foot is the biggest issue with the product. I only own .29 acres and probably .15-.2 acres of that is actually grass. Given the coverage and amount I used, I estimate it would take 8-10 of these containers to do all my grass. It simply doesn't cover much area. If your entire lawn is brown, don't bother. This is best used to handle spots that stick out and don't match.So if you are looking to green up a few spots of grass, I'd recommend this. I can't recommend this for an entire lawn unless it's so small it's measured in square feet. So it gets a review of Meh - not overwhelmed and not underwhelmed by it.

So this is a great product. Very easy to use and looks wonderful. My only gripes are that the bottle that should have covered my entire lawn only did 1/3. To be fair, a good part of the grass I did was brown so it takes more to get the job done. The other issue is the price because this is super expensive, maybe not in comparison to comparable products because I didn't really research that, but just in general. But I do love the result and went ahead and forked over the money to buy more so I can finish our yard. If you can handle the cost go for it because it looks great, but double or triple the amount if you have a large area of dead or dormant grass to cover.

8-10-15 Put this on my dormant lawn, easy to use, can control the depth of color by how you mix the solution when getting the concentrate, looks natural & the neighbors are jealous of my green lawn. Back breaker with my hand pump sprayer, though. I'd use a more powerful sprayer than I had. I will use this product next year. I just did the front lawn this year, I'll do front and back next year. I'd been watering my lawn but couldn't keep up with the extreme heat baking my lawn this year. Regarding the price, I factored what I would have been paying in water bills for the next few months to buying this product & not having to try to water in these drought conditions because I used this product and my lawn is now green. Worth the price of the product and water bill savings to have a green lawn. And I got the product on sale on Amazon! Much more expensive at my local garden center where I first saw it on their website a week ago. Highly recommend this product!
