Sensor Brite Overlite Ultra: Remote Control LED Light with Adjustable Brightness, Motion Activated, Stick Anywhere, Battery-Operated Overhead LED Light

I am using this light to illuminate a small closet in a spare bedroom we are using as a home office. Prior to installing the light it was a challenge to find some particular item because the closet was so dark, even with the opposite wall window shades open.I mounted this light on the ceiling as close to the door frame as possible to still allow changing batteries. This gives the light output a little "splay" over the shelves in the closet. I used the included wall anchors & screws rather than the sticky tape that was also included. It only took about five more minutes to properly mount the light using only a Yankee push drill, a tap hammer and an electric screwdriver to mount the plate rather than stick the plate. Much easier to remove if that becomes necessary.The motion detection works very well. The light goes off after about 20 seconds when the door is closed or I walk away from the closet doorway. I suspect I will only use the light 3-4 times per week with only perhaps 30 seconds of "on time" so I don't foresee any major battery usage issue.The only slightly confusing thing is the "remote" which is not actually a remote...it is a BRIGHTNESS control. The two top buttons are labeled HIGH and MED (obvious Brightness controls) but the third button has a Power Button icon. That button actually functions as a "LOW" brightness rather than On/Off. That's the only reason for just 4 starts. Otherwise, this is a solid little ceiling light for a small closet that is pretty much dumb-proof if you install it properly. Very happy with my purchase! Easily recommend for similar use.

I bought this for my closet but the problem is the remote does not turn it off and the light constantly stays on with no one in the closet so there is no movement so why isn’t it turning off?! So basically it’s useless because if it constantly stays on I will be changing batteries constantlyUpdate: batteries die every other day

This blinks on and off several times. Stops working, remote control cannot turn it off, and I have 2 and both of them not good. Tape not strong enough to hold on ceiling and goes through a lot of batteries.

Motion detection is spot on--easy to install anywhere with the tape on back or the screws-- I use these to light up the basement stairs until I can get to bottom of stairs very bright for that use -- not sure how long the batteries last-i haven't had it very long. Has a remote but don't really need it for what I use it for. Would highly recommend this brand.

The lights are perfect bright picks up on motion without any hesitation the only thing is the light doesn’t stay on if you chose to do that I wish they would add that part of it I know it’s a motion light but I also would like to be able to keep it on as long as I was in there where I need the light

Works as advertised

Product lasted 5 days. Used in a RV motorhome bathroom. Only used at night and operated fine when you entered bathroom. After 5 days and only needing to come on limited times it stopped. If functional it would be perfect. 5 days and no longer functional a flop and waste of money.

Put on of these in our hall closet. This thing is super bright and comes on as soon as you open the closet door!
