I have used shake on powder and the spray, both are okay. But THIS product is the best of them all. The sponge allows you to be very specific with where you want the powder applied so the coverage is better and seems to last longer too since you can lightly tape it on. It covers my roots between salon visits and does a fantastic job filling in my bald and thinning areas. I love this product and highly recommend it.

It works OK, not as good as I was hoping, but probably because my roots are white, not grey. I'm sure it would work better on more grey color hair. I do like the little applicator sponge.

I am a medium to dark blonde, and have two areas of gray, just in front of each ear. It was too expensive to keep going in for color on just those two areas, so I thought I would try this on recommendation from a co-worker. I ordered the dark brown and when it arrived the color looked like burnt charcoal and I thought I had really messed up on the color, but I tried it anyway and I am so happy with the results. It takes the smallest amount to make such a difference. The jar is small but it will last for months. Not sure how it would work for those with all-over gray, but I would definitely try it.

Nothing matches how great the color and the quality of this product works, but I’m not a fan of how it’s dispensed. I don’t understand the round applicator. It falls out of my hands multiple times and yet I must say it’s not dusty. There is no residue left over application and it holds up and stays on the hair pretty darn good. The price point is high though, but still, I don’t wanna be using anything else. And it gets me through to next root color!

The powder is ok and much easier to use than the spray. I purchased the medium blonde and the color is way off as just looks yellow. I am going to give the dark blonde and hope for better color.
