Tamiya 300087031 Masking Tape with Dispenser, 10 mm x 18 m

I honestly got this because I loved the design, but it's a great little roll of tape. Comes off cleanly, but also stays adhered unless you actively take it off. There's no "great" way to store it; I flip the tape over and stick it to the bottom of the roll. You'll see. But it's good stuff!

Probably the best masking tape you can buy for hobby modeling. It's thin and flexible even for masking slight curves. The adhesive adheres well to prevent paint bleed but it is also gentle enough to not damage existing paint. If you paint model kits, you cannot live without this Tamiya tape once you try it.

Best tape for plastic modelling. Always sticks well and easy to dispense. As some paint types dry in a rubbery finish, I recommend peeling this tape off the model as soon as the paint is applied, so to prevent peeling off with the tape after.

only 4 stars because the masking peeled some of the paint I masked off requiring me to very carefully touch up the already painted area, keeping in mind that I might not have properly prepped the area I masked. that said, this is a great masking tape as it does NOT bleed onto the masked area,

For me Tamiya masking tape is an essential workbench tool for building plastic models. I have been using Tamiya masking tape for years now and in my opinion it is most definitely one of the finest masking agents around. I know each individuals experience will very with "mileage" but I have yet to hear someone who had a less than positive experience using this masking tape.

Tried the tape with latex paint brushed on a semi-smooth surface. (Prepainted fabric covered model airplane) There was absolutly no bleed through, and the tape pulled off with no lift-off at all.
