Deep cup holders are much better than those in the factory installed holder on the floor, plus the cups are much easier to reach. It even secures our X-Large insulated water bottles. It fits securely and so far I haven't had to screw it to the console. I did have to use all of the washers to extend the latch and lid is a little more difficult to close / open but not a big deal for me.

This is awesome. No more rattly, fold-down, flimsy cup holders for me. That crummy thing is now nicely tucked away.This fits great, with 2 very easy modifications to overcome the the dreaded “won’t latch” complaint.1. Behind the latch on the underside of lid, there is a little, round bumper. Pull that out. Might need a pair of needle nose pliers. That may be enough play to make it work. Just make sure the holder is pushed down tight.If that’s not enough and it is still really hard to get it latch, move to #22. This is much easier to do with the lid removed. There are 4 small screws on the rear hing that are easy to remove and take the lid off. After removing, unsnap the flat trim around the “cushion “ on the inside. It pulls right out. Unscrew the latch and put a (or a few, depending on the thickness) washers between the latch and lid. You probably need at least 1/8 inch. Reattach everything and you should be good to go. Mine is tighter that it was, but easily latches with a little more downforce.Bonus, if you care at all about aesthetics, it paints up nicely. Like all painting, prep is the key. I sanded it first, and taped off the parts inside the console sinc that’s all black anyway (and would easily wear away).For function, I’d give this 6 stars, if you even a little handy to do the easy mods. If you don’t care about aesthetics, 7 stars.

it fits in place well have to slam the lid hard to close and makes it hard to re open but once u figure it out its not bad

Absolutely love this new addition. No more reaching down to get my drink from the original cup holders. It's right at my fingertips. Very easy to install and totally transformed the inside of my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Thunder Road Edition. Feel like I got a new truck.

It is unnecessarily big. It holds drinks. But it keeps the lid from locking. It's just too bulky

Nice and sturdy molded plastic. Super super easy install, just basically snap into place. No need to otherwise secure it. To get your console lid to close you need to space the latch just a bit...search videos online there are at least two that I saw that explain it very well. Takes another 5-10 mins for that. Glad I bought it.

I have 2 of these, 1 in my 2nd gen, 1 in my 3rd. The cup holders help but the lid doesn't close properly and won't latch so if you want or need to put the seat up you gotta take it off or your stuff goes everywhere and lid stays open. But having the cup holders there is super nice so I deal with the inconvenience since I rarely put that seat up.

It takes 5min to install, you have to put washers(included) on the bracket latch of the arm rest.It supports the big cups and looks great 👍 can easily be removed and put back if seat is needed.
