Can it be painted if it fades?

I definitely hope so because after 2 months my beautiful red mailbox is now a Pepto Bismol PINK. I am planning to paint it red again. It is a great mailbox, looks nice, well made. But it is pink. I am using a good enamel outdoor paint. But we all know that the sun will cause almost anything to fade after a while. Repaint it and enjoy it. If it fades again, repaint.

Where can I purchase the 4x4 adapter to mount to my existing wooden post?

Adapter? If you have an existing 4x4 post erected, all you need to do is cut a 1”X 8” 20” long. Nail or screw it to the top of the 4x4 post and screw your mailbox on to the top board (predrilled mounting hole are on the side of the mailbox along the bottom edge
