light keeps turning off after 10-15 seconds and the charging light is blinking green when on. do i need to return?

You accidentally turned on the motion sensor. Unplug it and hold the button until the light stops blinking. Blinking light means motion sense function(while not charging).

What is the true Lumens ?

I can't test it out, only going by the package. I like the settings on the lite, nice and bright.

Is the user manual available, anywhere? I bought this a while ago and can't find mine.

I didn't receive one when I bought it, but I don't think there's anything you'd need one for. You can recharge the battery in the headset by plugging in the included USB cord. If the lamp doesn't light, the battery is in backwards.

Does it have a red setting?

No, but this version seems to have a 10 lumen "moonlight" setting.
