SUPER COMFORT, NO BRUISED SHINS!!
These are perfect for painters or anyone who is on their knees and up and down ladders all day. Since I bought these I've used them about 3 times only because I haven't needed them as much, but WOW what a huge difference compared to other knee pads. They are definitely very comfortable against the ladder steps too and give you a little more support in comfort while leaning against the ladder. I used to go home with welts and bruises on my shins just from leaning all day, but yeah what a huge difference these make for sure. I don't think anyone would argue against these. They are build to last and seem to be made from good materials. The hooks and loop system feel solid like they will last long. I am grateful I bought these!

MUST HAVE FOR YACHT OWNERS!
Yes, I said yacht owners. I can't believe it took me this long to find something like this, but these worked out fantastically for crawling around in my engine room of my boat. At 6'2" and 230 lbs, it is a challange for me to get down to my engines and having twins, I need to lean over them to perform certain tasks. I was constantly hurting my knees or skinning up my legs and these are not only easy and comfortable to wear, they offer a great deal of protection. I love how easy they are to put on and off and once straps were adjusted, I haven't had to touch them since. GREAT PRODUCT!

Straps need work.
I had spent a week on a 4ft ladder, and masking off floors and painting baseboards. I have knee pads, and they move around. By the end of day 5 my shins were killing me, and I decided enough is enough, I need a combination of knee pads and shin guards. I searched and searched and came upon these. I was excited after reading reviews, and read that they stay in place.I have used them all day, and they move around...a lot. I believe the problem is the straps slide through the plastic catch or whatever it is called. I mean you pull on it and it moves with ease. I think if I tape the strap in place this may solve that problem, although I believe with just a little more money invested in the product this would be a non issue. Finally on the calf strap, it is a spandex strap that is held in place with Velcro. The Velcro grip is way too short, and should extend the entire strap, I will have to buy some and glue it on. This is another example of spending a little more money on the product. What worries me is if this small investment is skipped, what’s the durability of the product going to be? Will the spandex straps stretch out and become useless? Time will tell.

Great way to protect your knees
These are so much better then regular knee pads because they stay in place and you don't have to keep sliding them back up into position. These are great for mechanics and service personnel who kneel on rough surfaces and even on smooth surfaces. They really save your knees and reduce the pain that will develop, because you are not "Bullet Proof" forever.

Great knee/shin protection but don't always stay put
Love these, one of the few products I found that provides cushioned support for both knees and shins. The latter has been very helpful when, for example, doing a lot of work on a ladder and needing to lean against the rungs. My only minor complaint involves the straps: The pads tend to slide a bit from side to side. That said, putting them on and taking them off is fairly easy. Overall, I'm well satisfied.

A real knee saver.
As a DOT inspector, these pads have not only saved my knees but prevented me from dinging my shins on the landing gear. I use these every workday and they are very durable.

Weak straps and bad sewing.
The knee pads have weak straps and theirs no easy way to adjust the straps so they end up falling down to your calf or ankle and the shin guard is has bad straps as well that are barely sown on, don't be a sucker like me and just get something else

Adjustment straps work well. Fit my knees and legs comfortably, the shin guards make a huge difference with allowing me to bump up against objects and feel confident of not getting hurt (as has happened many times in the past for me while building). I would like to see the cushion foam to have a "gel" pad vs. foam, it would add just a little more comfort over long periods of being on my knees.
