GEFU 34680 Universal Cheese Grater, Parmigiano

ABSOLUTE CRAP! POOR ERGONOMICS!...Tiring to Use..Like turning a doorknob over & over & over again! Also had a crack in the plastic! It works by placing the cheese into a double-sided chamber where it's pushed against a metal grating disc (2 interchangeable disks; 1 in use & the other sits inside the knob/top) as you press down on the top knob piece and turn, the cheese shreds come out the bottom; the rotary barrel type graters work much better...this grater is awkward & requires considerable effort to obtain a small amount of grated cheese. I really wanted to like it but it is VERY TIRING on wrist to use it...NOT RECOMMENDED! Note: I purchased this used and it was delivered with a long hairline crack in the black plastic cap. This is the last time I purchase a used item, especially from the seller I used...shame on seller for selling damaged item & not describing.

This grater was a complete waste of money. It barely shreds parmesian cheese even when pushing down very hard while turning. In addition even though the unit has a lid for the bottom, you cannot store the cheese in the unit as the the top will not close all the way with cheese inside. Save your money and don't bother.

Fix not grate cheese well at all. Very dissatisfied.

Works very poorly - it is so much easier to grind Parmesan cheese using an old fashioned simple grinding tool.

The concept is very good but implementation is poor. I used this on Romano cheese and I simply did not have enough upper body strength to make this work well. I expected that this would be easier than using a grater for hard cheeses. I was wrong! After getting frustrated over the length of time it was taking I returned to grating it. It took far less time to grate a cup of cheese than the time I wasted using this to get 2-3 teaspoons.

I returned this after one attempt to grind Parmesan cheese . Too tough to turn/grind. I kept the other, all metal side grinder/hopper model.

Don't waste your money. Quality is very good, But the result is terrible. Bad return policy. I returned after trying it for 5 min, had to pay shipping and got back 50% of what I initially paid.
