Value for money, good product.
Where I live the road is unadopted and in addition to an annual "road fund " payment, we hold regular coffee mornings, summer fêtes, Xmas raffles, etc. Someone has to volunteer to make the beverages and at Easter had three kettles on the go, so to me, the obvious answer was an urn. This not only reduced electricity costs but also enabled attendees to make their own drinks and release someone of that onerous task. Now christened "Urnie", the unit is available to all residents for functions and private events.

Poor quality liquid heater with a shocking high tap
I Bought this item to serve mulled wine which is meant to be hot but not boiling. Whereas, this poor quality urn doesn't function appropriately and keeps on at boiling temperatures. 1. Warm function doesn't work. 2. Tank is so thin and plastic holders are flimsy and easy to break. 3. Tap is so high that it won't work unless the contents are more than two litres. Having to tilt the whole flimsy urn to serve is embarrassing! 4. It is worth about £6 but costs six times more.

Completely useless
This is the second one we ordered. The first broke after 6 weeks, this one lasted 4 months! They are so unreliable and for the cost is, this is ridiculous. I will not purchase another one for my team at work as within such a short time they develop a fault. Previously we had one that lasted 4 years, so I just do not know what is going on as the usage is the same.

Can someone please get in touch regarding faulty water urn
I received this water urn on the 1st April 2024. Worked well at first now it doesn’t heat up

Works but the keep heat function is ALWAYS ON
The keep warm function uses around 160w of electricity constantly (around 1/10th the power it takes to boil) but it never turns itself off. I would rather have a brief on off boil that lasts 5-10 mins every 2 hours, it has become expensive to keep running in the current climate. Old urn used 1.8 - 2.0kwh per day, this one has used 2kwh after just 4 hours use (including initial heat up) I will test for a full day tomorrow and make sure the numbers are correct. If not then i am Defiantly looking for a more economical replacement.
