I've never used Microcyn, but the Skintegrity helped heal my difficult to close surgical wound.

Lactic acid is an effective antibacterial agent, actually, and I believe it's why it's the third ingredient on the list after water. See https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28223586 for a scientific paper on the antibacterial properties of lactic avid.

Q: can this be used for first and second degree burn, open burn wounds?

If you have not go to the ED or your PCP. Second degree burns you can use bactine ointment open burns should be treated by a medical professional and they’ll tell you wants best.
