5 stars for the excellent batteries. Packaging = Zero. Like reviewer JeffM, I have used "Power One" batteries for several years. Sep 4, 2024, I purchased 240 size 312 hearing aid batteries. Advertising showed the same product packaging as my previous purchases. I opened the new shipment Nov 2024. "Child Resistant" requires titanium scissors to cut between each tiny battery, then around each tiny battery, then forcefully pry it from the very tough, sharp plastic. Age 85 yrs with peripheral neuropathy (poor sensation in fingers), this is ridiculously challenging to acquire a battery! I never want to receive "Child Resistant" ever again. There are no children here. This is NOT convenient.

Re-ordered the same good batteries that I have used for several years, and on receipt there is a new packaging that is so over designed and sturdy that it is darn near impossible to extract a battery. It seems likely that I will be injured in the effort. There is no perforation or flap that allows a battery to be removed. You have to cut through unbelievably tough plastic very close to the battery, then pry apart the opening. Unbelievable overkill. The previous rotary tray packaging was easy to use to dispense one battery at a time without tools, cutting, wrenching at stiff plastic.

The batteries have a short life: on average 3 to 4 days.

This product contained a lot of bad batteries. Probably one in three are dead cells.

These are the best batteries to use for my hearing aid and this price is great a get about a week of use before having to change them.
