My kids adore this kite. Even with the slightest breeze, it's eager to take flight. We had previously tried a more complicated kite that was a hassle to set up and fly. This kite is compact, sets up in just 5 minutes, and effortlessly takes to the sky with minimal effort. My kids can run in all directions, and this kite handles it like a pro, staying airborne. I highly recommend it for beginners and family kite-flying fun.

The very first time I tried this kite was on the beach with my grandson. What could go wrong? ;-) Well, in this case, nothing. It's a beautiful and large kite. Very well designed and executed. Fiberglass rods (instead of wood); a swivel latching attaching kite to reel, with braided cord. Kite went up immediately and quite high. Grandson had no problem maneuvering it. Taking a kite out for the first time on the beach with grandchild could lead to disappointment. Not on this day! A pleasurable experience for all. I'll likely get some more...and their reels look like they're worth trying out.***UPDATE--Unfortunately, after only 2 flights the "tails" are becoming frayed. While the kite still flies well--and I expected some fraying over time--it's rather disappointing that this occurred with only two flights!

This is a great, economic choice for a lightweight kite to fly with your kiddos! Easy to assemble (my 12 year old assembled it without help) and equally easy to disassemble for storage and transport.Love the colors and how beautiful it looks ip in the sky. 😊

OMG! I lost my kite at sea after only flying it to the max height for about 30 minutes. It took up easily and was beautiful once in the air with the streamers flying behind, it was a sight to see as the weather was perfect. Then I went to take a break and clamped it to the arm of my chair, it was flying on its own, so high up that I totally forgot about it and hit the handle with my arm and off she went way over the water down, down until I couldn't see her anymore. it took about 5 minutes for her to go out of sight. I apologized to her for being carless and she floated off into the abyss. lol!HOWEVER, and this is important, Mint's replaced her for free, no questions asked-although I did share my mishap. So if you still have some kid left in you, give this kite a try. What do you have to lose? It was easy to assemble, took off easily as I mentioned but the only thing I did this time was invest in a kite wheel so I never lose a kite again. Dieser Drachen hat uns einen riesen Spaß bereitet. Er fliegt super und bewegt sich im Wind einfach und elegant. Er stürtze nicht einmal ab und lies sich sehr gut halten
