I bought this back in 2011, two and a half years ago, for our office, where we copy discs every couple of weeks. We just had our first problem with it, and we called for customer support. I was initially disappointed to get voice mail, but then they actually (to my surprise) called us back within an hour or so. They then walked us through the troubleshooting, including one followup phone call, and now it's working just fine again. Great duplicator, great customer service!

Received the unit on time. Only used ot a few times so far, but am impressed with the speed and accuracy of the unit.

I bought this to duplicate DVDs and CDs I produced of a musical study camp, so participants in the camp would have the DVDs and CDs to play along with at home. It is a glorious improvement over having to copy discs one by one on various computers. However, for copying 3 Gb DVDs, the speed setting needs to be turned down to 12x, otherwise a failure rate as high as 1 out of 6 may occur. To adjust burn speed and set up automatic verification and other useful functions, you will probably need the manual. The manual comes on a CD. Find the pdf file for the manual and print it out! Mess with the control panel until you get into Expert Mode. Function 11 under expert mode is Set-Up. Under function 11, you have many options for adjusting the burn rates for DVDs, CDs, and setting up verification features to reduce the chance of having bad copies. The good news is that once the settings have been properly fixed, the device remembers them after being turned off, so next time you can just turn it on and go. The manual makes sense to engineers and computer nerds, but with patience, if you can operate a TV remote control or a microwave oven, you should be able to figure it out. I would have rated this item a 5 if the manual were easier to understand.

I purchased this device about a month ago and I am loving it..... The great thing is the amount of time it takes to copy CDs....If you make CD/DVD this is the device for you!!!!!

Just open the doors, insert disks, and close the doors--it reads and copies automatically with no programming, then the doors pop open for loading more blanks. Glad I bought it.
