Love the tankard, but did notice that where the handle is there is a small dimple in the metal container where it is set in. I have had the tankard for about 2 months. It hasn't caused any leakage as of yet.....only time will tell. I use it most everyday for coffee in the morning.

I was on the fence about this one. I'm glad I bought it. I used to enjoy drinking from a Bayou Billy mug, but they rust out pretty quickly. This mug has the same capacity, but the stainless steel liner will outlast my kids. Buy it now, you won't be disappointed.

The mug is just amazing!I was afraid a little to order because several reviewers said their mugs came broken or chipped. I was buying it as birthday present for my husband and was very happy to receive it in perfect condition. My husband loves it! It is very lightweight, pleasant to touch as it is real wood. Looks very authentic. Omg these are so cool. I know they are more for ale or beer but I love drink wine in these. Gives it a more barrel flavor. Love it.

My husband loves this mug. He hasn’t used it yet, but he’s super excited. We are concerned about washing it though, since there are gaps in the top that have exposed wood. The handle is fairly rough, but it fits his hand wonderfully. This mug is great if you’re in the market for something that looks cool, but if you want something that’s going to hold up over lots of uses, this might not be it.

I immediately grew an intense beard after taking my first sip from this tankard. upon finishing my first ale, I beat my chest slamming the mug down and loudly declaring "ANOTHER!"Its exactly what you would expect.

Such a Shame as I was really looking forward to using this tankard but unfortunately it arrived with three large splits along the grain which not only rendered it unusable it looked awful. I've sent it back for a refund rather than a replacement as I cannot see any longevity in the structure of this product.
