This stuff works as advertised, the dust in my bed is virtually nonexistent now. Installation was easy, and the tape sticks like crazy, so lay it down right the first time, because it's not coming off!

After reading all the reviews, I bought this seal and it works well! It was installed 2 months ago and the adhesive REALLY sticks! An important point - it absolutely keeps water and dust out of the truck bed... but it also TRAPS water and dust IN the truck bed. Obviously. I've had a tonneau leak for some time before installing this seal, and now I'm extra motivated to stop that tonneau leak. As I said, this seal really sticks and works!

Installed this on my 2023 Ram 1500. Used the 4.25" seal on the tailgate and the smaller trim on the edge/sides. Looks good and seals good. Note: I did not leave my tailgate down for 24 hours as in the instructions. Only about 5 hours. I used it 2 days later and everything looked good with adhesion as expected. I adhered off the metal bed (under the drop in bedliner) and the plastic inner tailgate cover.

I was looking for a product that would keep dust out of my truck bed, covered with a hard tonneau) while driving down dirt roads. This kit had everything in it that I needed to install the product except a way to cut to length. It was easy to install, since it came with everything needed and had clear installation instructions with a few variations depending on the style of tailgate you had. The thickness of the product was as expected.

This is awesome! No more digging junk out from the tailgate gap! Install was really easy and the adhesive is super strong. I've bashed it with all kinds stuff and drug things over it and it hasn't budged. I've recommended it to all my friends with pickups! Update on 9/24/18: Unfortunately I did a stupid thing and backed a trailer with my tailgate down. Now I know how tailgates get that giant crush-dent on the top of them. I always thought people dropped heavy things on them, but nope, backed a trailer with the gate down. Anyway, I had to replace my tailgate because I just couldn't stand it. Removing the Rok Block added an extra hour and half to the process! I couldn't believe how well it had stuck! It took a lot of strength to remove the gap cover and it left residue on my bed which I had to scrape and pick at for over an hour to get off. I was worried about it because I had recently transported my chainsaw and gas can and the can had fallen over en route. There was gas in the back of my pickup just sitting there soaking for at least an hour. I thought sure it would have harmed the adhesive on the Rok Block but nope - it didn't bother it at all. I was really amazed at how well. I ordered a new set for my new tailgate and am 100% confident it's going to stay in place for a really, really long time in spite of the abuse things take in the back of a pickup!

You have to follow the instructions very closely. It's a bit tricky with the adhesive, once you put down the activator there's no readjusting, and you must apply pressure to ensure the proper adhesion, as the adhesive is pressure sensitive. I bought this primarily for dust and water prevention and it has performed better than I expected. I don't typically haul stones and dirt, so it didn't get a real stress test, but it worked well hauling mulch.

Just installed and so far everything seems quality, however, in the listing it is not apparent that the 6 foot main seal is not enough length to cover both the sides and the bed/tailgate seam on my Tacoma, and bigger trucks would need even more. Of course, the rock seal will help seal the tailgate seam, but for those that want to seal underneath the rock guard in case things come apart, the 10 foot length would be needed. My review is in response to this not being apparent in the listing, not the quality of the product.
