Great Trail Shoe!
I normally wear a 10 1/2 and when I first put on this shoe it fit like a glove. I couldn't have asked for a better fit. The upper is thin, soft and flexible, but does not allow my foot to slide around. When lacing up the shoe I noticed that the laces have some elasticity. This allowed me to lace up my shoes without having to over tighten which I immediately loved. This is my first minimal trail running shoe that I have ever tried. I couldn't find this shoe in any stores to try on before I purchased, but based on the other reviews I took my chances. On my first run, I could really feel the grip that these shoes have on the trail. I felt very sure footed and ran confidently up and down steep hills. After a couple of miles of running I could tell that the reinforced nylon plate on the bottom of the shoe was protecting my foot from rocks and roots. After the initial break-in I had to tighten the laces just a bit. In that same period of time, I also felt the shoe almost conform to my foot. They are very light weight and did I mention they look great! I received several compliments on what I good looking shoe this is! I am very happy with my purchase and did I mention that this is a great trail running shoe!

Fit wise they are great, obviously better for narrow feet
I run with Kinvara 4 on the road and tr2 has the similar fit. Fit wise they are great, obviously better for narrow feet, close to road Kinvaras 3-4.Used recently in two hours trails run in Marin county, north of SF, heavy rain, mud, rather technical terrain, rocks. Most important, they wick moisture very effectively, feet stayed in comfortable-almost dry state all two hours in pouring rain. I ran in rains with road Kinvaras and they can hold up to hour, tr2 has way better membrane material. Downside, little rocks will get eventually inside the shoe due to low cut, Saucony should've built shoe covering closer to the ankle. Otherwise, these are great hybrid shoes, one can safely run with them on the road, combine with light trails, grip is excellent, they don't slide in mud, light weight, narrow and tough. Personally I think Saucony shouldn't discontinue but market them as lightweight trails run shoe.for less rigid terrain.

Shoes For Champions
I was expecting these shoes to be way too small for my EE wide feet, but out of the box they were a perfect fit. Happy happy happy. I purchased these shoes to use as driving shoes as I enjoy driving the car while barefooted. The next to barefoot feeling has been perfect for such purpose, and to my surprise the shoes are very comfortable for long hikes around shopping malls, and even the extremely hard floors of Walmart stores. The shoes are almost weightless, and I don't even realize I have them on when walking, and running along the Great Divide Trail in my favorite Blackrange mountains of New Mexico. The protective footplate in these shoes has kept the bottoms of my feet completely safe from thorns, and sharp rocks. Their next challenge will be on the links type golf courses. Can hardly wait!!!

Good shoe but not for me.
First I should disclose the little toe on my right foot can be an issue in shoes but usually the left is fine. So I wont knock a shoe unless it gets both feet which is the case here.In fact every Saucony I have tried recently impacts both feet/little toes substantially both on the side and the top. I guess the shape of their shoes is not compatible with the shape of my feet. I found this is to be a narrow shoe even for Saucony....It is light and feels well made but too narrow over all and a pinkie crusher for me and that is even before running, foot swelling and toe splay come into play. This shoe is firm, It amazes me how soft and mushy the roads shoe I tried from them are (Kinvara, Ride) and how hard the trail shoes are (Peregrine, Kinvara TR2) I will say it is impressive how solid yet how light both those trails shoes are.Curious about my ongoing toe box issues with Saucony, I matched up a Kinvara 4 next to a Mizuno Hitogami side by side, the Kinvara 4 toe box looks noticeably taller and wider, yet it pushes and pressures my little toes way too much while the Hitogami fit perfect..go figure!Sure is not easy being a running shoe whore these days...quite a challenge finding a compatible shoe. I am an older guy...5-9 150, neutral foot, high arches, midfoot/fore foot striker..average 30 to 40 miles a week mostly trail, hard pack dirt.

Worn once; never again
These shoes are not very "low profile." They are soft, squishy, sloppy, and relatively bulky. I regret the purchase and will likely just toss them into the trash.

The best trail (I think) you can get
Great fit if you say on what you have. I have a 10 but was advise to go to 9.5 by the shoe guide, mistake. The shoe is fit for it's purpose (trail) but very comfortable on concrete/tarmac.The sole is solid so no leaking and there a lot of knobs underneath to give you the grip you need without adding weight.A definite buy.

Happy Medium
These are the goldilocks trail shoes for me. Plenty of room in the forefoot for my bunions but not too wide. Almost all of my other trail shoes pinches my bunions due to weird positioning of trail running. It's minimal but not too minimal which I love. It helps promote forefoot running without feeling every little pebble on the trail. As a matter of fact it has plenty of rock protection. I also like the added flexibility. I tend to be more prone to sprained ankles with the stiffer trail shoes. The only thing I would like to see improved is maybe softer cushioning in the forefoot. But overall my favorite trail shoes to date. I got two in different colors, one to train one to race. Why don't RW carry these anymore? Oh well, their loss.

Great trail shoe, not as wide in the forefoot as I had hoped.
I have recently switched to running in either a zero drop or 4mm heel to toe drop shoes and love the difference in low back and joint pain! These shoes do not disappoint in that area. Light and flexible, with traction you can be confident in, this shoe is a great as a more minimalist trail shoe. My only complaint is that the forefoot fits like a traditional shoe. I have gotten used to running in Merrell minimalist and altra running shoes that let my toes splay naturally. Otherwise great shoe, highly recommend!
